Whether someone is guilty or not this is how the media manipulates the public. During arraignment the media says the defendant plead not guilty, they say it in a way as if the defendant is being arrogant, you can't plead guilty in a felony case during arraignment. The defendant showed no emotion, aren't allowed to be emotional or show outbursts in court it can effect your sentencing and appeals.
Too bad innocent black victims of murder by cops don’t receive the same justice. This country has a two-tiered judicial system. May God continue to judge this country.
Look at murder statistics, there is a noticeable difference in who does the most killings and second place. Playing the victim seems unrealistic. The USA is the least racist country in the world.

How did this all come together? I know it was corruption, but they weren't randomly chosen were they? Did he have a special vendetta against this couple? Or was he trying to make a name for himself in the force? Did he make a mistake and couldn't back down from it because of ego? You don't just select a house for a "no knock" warrant and go in guns blazing because they sold you some weed.
It was a scam. The cops would look for houses they wanted. Then write up an informant report to justify a warrant. Theyd bust in and arrest everyone and plant drugs when they searched. That allowed them to seize all property, house and all contents and cars. Then when the cops auctioned this stuff off, they would get dibs on it all. So the retiring LEOs buy the house and whatever they want for $1 before the public gets to see any of it. Typically theu would do this to a few houses on a street, so they could own the homes and rent them out to immigrants and get a steady government income and charge as high as they want. It was a huge scam, a criminal racket, but they threw goines under the bus to keep a lid on the depths of this scandal. 60 years, but in 6 months he will have a medical episode and get released or they will just appeal his conviction or whatever to get him free.
