JUSANT Hands On Gameplay PREVIEW - Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Steam & Xbox & PC Game Pass
In this video, myself and Luke got the exciting opportunity to check out an exclusive 2 hour Preview of Jusant - to play an extended look preview, and share our gameplay & impressions of our time spent with the game with you guys.
Jusant is an upcoming climbing based, action adventure, exploration game, and the latest game from DontNod, who are developing and self publishing it. Huge thank you to DontNod & Black Soup (the PR Rep) for kindly supplying preview keys for the purpose of this video.
Jusant is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Steam, & Xbox Game Pass day one too - on the 31st of October.
All Jusant gameplay in this video is captured directly from my preview gameplay playthrough, and was captured on PC at 1440p at 60fps with all settings on 'High' (the second highest graphics setting for this game). It performed very well, even though my PC is not the 'beefiest' - I was running an RTX 2060 with a Ryzen 7 3800x CPU, 16gb Ram.

Thanks so much brother! Really appreciate that. It’s a beauty of a game, deffo a game to get excited for imo. Felt amazing to play, very engaging climbing mechanics, intriguing story (that we could of gone into much more detail on but didn’t want the vid to be extreme length lol), beautiful sound and visuals, and a very relaxing vibe to it overall mixed with fun gameplay mechanics - it’s got it all very well balanced imo, and feels fantastic. Fingers crossed the full release comes together well. We may well do a review too. Thanks so much for watching buddy, u rock! 🙏😊

Really appreciate that judzy bro, thanks so much for the kind words. It really does have a unique twist on how it approaches gameplay and the vibe in the game. The story has so much intrigue too (which we deffo could of explored more but didn’t want it to be crazy long vid lol) Jusant meaning a nautical term for a receding tide, and the surrounding environment has been through what looks like a lot of environmental change, with the boats marooned etc. I won’t get into any more on that. But yeah, I think this game is going to be a very beautiful experience, and has the potential to be one of the best of the year. Let’s hope it can come together well as the final thing. By any chance were the developers of 'Brothers: a tale of two sons' involved in Jacent? The way Luke describes "reaching out" while using the left thumbstick & left trigger and the art style gave me vibes of the aforementioned game :3

No, that actually wasn't them, Brothers was developed by Hazelight I believe, the dev made A Way Out and It Takes Two. But the control in this game feels wonderful, full connects you to the feel of the climb. Hope you enjoyed what you saw. You think you'll check it out?

@@TheIndieGamer I know it's confusing but I meant the actual people/staff not the studio when I said "developers" that my bad bud as you can't always attribute a studio with specific games these days as staff members are shuffled around the industry like a Scooby-Doo multi Door scene 😅 it seems that no cross-over happened with hazelite/dontnod staff but still the fact Luke's comments resonated memories of Brothers says a lot, definitely added to a wishlist & keeping an eye out for release

As I mentioned, I can definitely confirm the climbing mechanic is very fun, hope it will be for u too. But it’s so well done in the game, feels wonderful climbing and scaling the incredibly vast landscapes. Perfect balance of relaxing vibes, intriguing story, and engaging mechanics.
