"hep hep hep" I get up and go stand by the door watching for a black rooster.....🤣. That sandy ground....if you have any spoiled silage, mix it with fairly solid manure and go spread it on the sandy areas only. They'll get better every year. Stage 2 plant red clover in those patches and don't harvest (or spray) the patches, just knock it down. Deer love it and it will stop the top soil you're building from washing in those areas. We did the stage 2 on a sandy hillside (in strips), we didn't have livestock so no manure. Moved the strips every year. In 4 years we had an incredible little piece of ground. Maybe red clover will qualify as part of the left crop. Just tryin to think outside the box.....the box is in. lol
