Just A Hungry Little Cuttlefish - Hunting Flamboyant Cuttlefish Muck Diving in the Philippines 

While at Atlantis Dive Resort in Dumaguete Philippines we came across this flamboyant cuttlefish. He was ‘walking’ across the dark sand bottom hunting tiny little shrimps and other organisms. As you watch notice how he pauses and kind of puffs up and blinks another color right as his long tongue comes out and he snatches up his prey!!
*please note that I take conservation and the safety of aquatic life very seriously. The cuttlefish was not disturbed or harassed in any way. Myself and one other diver approached slowly and hovered very quietly next to it as it went about its day. The cuttlefish never attempted to flee or leave us.
