A video for my fellow perfectionists and procrastinators. Feel free to reach out on instagram: www.instagram.... Let me know what you want to see in next weeks video down in the comments below.
There is actually a study that proves that quantity is better than quality... If you prefer quantity the quality automatically improves due to natural human tendencies... !
@@hijawwad Yeah about that, the study was conducted in India and it is not true that Indian vloggers disagree to it (Go and see Sankho Kun's channel), you may😂
You could make videos about the following topics- •How to stay productive? •How to make money online? •How to manage time? •How to cope up with Mental Health in stressful situations? •My productive desk setup. •Room Tour •Study/work with me videos. You could also make vlogs like Day in my life or just Random vlogs.... Hope this helps!!!😊😊
Oh you know me well man… I would say it’s not plain procrastination, which might be a factor, it’s also fear to fail and for perfectionist people that ends up hindering progression. But man what a great advice you gave!!! Something fast, quick and simple, limit perfection, it’s only an ideal. Thank you
@@rohanwadhwa9027 Some states did have lockdowns. A lot of schools and universities had online school last year. I’m still partially doing online uni. Next semester they’re trying for normal on-campus lectures.
Your videos are applicable not only for students, but for all who want to learn how to study anything, how to approach new things and how to analyse them. I finished uni but I find them v. useful stil since the proces od educating yourself should never stop. Your methods are good to make up for all the "losses" I made while being at uni and connecting the dots. You disect things. One of my top 3 favourite youtubers ever. We've seen many topics discussed by many ppl, but I don't doubt you'll find a new light to shine on things and would love to see your perspectives on procrastrination, organising time, motivation, studying a new language or maybe hear some of your study music lists etc. Keep it going 🔝☺️☺️.
You truly inspire with your experience...the approach to break things down...and "just start" ...i used to say to everyone to do this..but didn't done that myself ..so thanks for awaking me...and starting things again and leaving excuses behind 👍
I use to be a control freak that sometimes it would hinder me from even starting or completing a full task. If there’s something I’ve learned though is that “IMperfect action is better than perfect inaction”. I absolutely agree and welcome back, Sam :)
That is true, This minute (in general little things) make the work, training, business very easy and help you to start any job. Remember this rule, make it easy is the key to start anything.
I just love your contents. Would really love if you show how you take online notes and how you do it daily, your daily routine in quarantine. Lots of love from Bangladesh 💕
Happy to see you on my recommendations❤️.Want to see a video about the camera you use to record your videos and also the editing tools and music that you make it as a high budget quality movie🔥. Want to see all of that in one video please.
I’m actually glad your are back. Really been watching your videos on note taking on the iPad and finally getting me to start using mine since I have had one for years now just never do.
Yes!!!!!!! I be looking for your vids! Glad and grateful for your presence. I'm in the same boat though. Gonna commit to that one minute tho and see where it takes me - thanks for this!
It's great to see you back Samuel. You have had a drastic impact on how I started to study my Ba. Paramed. I would still love to see the option to buy your Physiology notebook. It's everything I wish my notes were and then more.
I almost forgot about ur channel. I'm glad u uploaded again. The notetaking videos were my favorite. Can't wait to see more of ur videos, what ever their going to be. :)
Welcome back!! Ok, unrelated to studying and productivity but I’d love to see a video (or videos) on how you edit your videos: music, effects, creative process, how do you decide on the look and feel you want a video to have, etc. Thanks!
I was just watching your videos the other day and wondered what this guy had been upto and suddenly today boom I see your video uploaded today. I assume it is a total coincidence. Your channel is great btw.
Maybe you could make a video related to how you learn soft skills: like filmmaking, or graphic design, which in my opinion you have mastered very successfully!
I love this video! Thanks for sharing your life online. I love the videos you put out. I am here waiting when you do- no rush! Keep creating and excelling in life.
doctor - you only have 1 minute left in your life patient - decides to watch RU-vid and sees the title *Just a minute* doctor - that is of 4 minutes god - just see it, dude, I'll give you 3 more minutes
Good to have you back man. I've watched your videos last year during Covid and I must say I really like how you approach how you take notes on your iPad. I have a Surface Pro 2 and taking notes on screen instead of regular paper is the way to go. As for your videos I understand you need time. Take your time.
Your video was posted well before the book that Will Smith released recently about his life, but it reminds me of the "brick wall" story. Focus on the minute. Focus on laying one brick perfectly. Just one at a time instead of the BIG task. I, too, am a procrastinator. Grateful for this reminder: that if you just start, you can get the ball rolling. Thank you!
Your videos, editing, your way of talking, and your valuable advises is the most incredible thing in the world. Please keep posting videos as possible you can. Wish you all the best 🌟
Video idea: Time management and knowing how & when to approach the next step in your life, e.g. applying for a job or starting university. The things you have to consider and etc.
Nice to see you after a while. Please make a video about how you make your videos. Add all the details about all the equipment you use, hardware, software, music, etc. Love your videos. Good luck! 😃👍🙏❤️
been watching your videos for a while and I've shared them with my friend she's in med school I like that you don't just talk about note taking and apps and how to use them no you talk from experience and give motivation and really can't describe how happy I was when the last video you said that you was studying law damn I couldn't be more happy cause I'm in law school and I liked the way you study but it just wasn't working with law I really liked med school because of your notes 😂😂 so I tried the notion thing and I really liked it so if you could please make more videos about how you study law
I recently came across your channel .I was a frustrated failling student , who is struggling to learn, the correct way. Actually I am still that same student but you instilled some hope in me. And when you told about your condition in school ,I was relating alot... And I would love to watch your videos and hear your valuable words.
Wonderful idea! I’m kinda the person who is super exited about such a plan, follows it for like 2-3 weeks, then stops and asks a few months later why I’ve stopped it... but then I won’t start it again either
I wouldn’t really call myself a procrastinator, but I do look for excuses once in a while. Sometimes they are valid excuses and sometimes they’re not. However, there are a few instances where I need an impulse to start working. Because of COVID, most of our homework for school is digital. Well, up until recently I only had a computer on a desk with a wooden chair. So naturally, I didn’t want to turn it on for small tasks and I often didn’t feel like working. Now I have an iPad and can do my homework in bed or in the living room while watching a tv show. Of course that’s not ideal, because you might not be able to concentrate, but it works for small tasks like reading a text and highlighting a few key ideas. If I suddenly remember something that I want to add, I can add it within a minute. I don’t have to turn on my computer and wait until it’s ready to use. What I wanted to say, is that my iPad made it way easier for me to start working and I don’t need a strong impulse anymore. I can just open my case and then I’m ready to work.
Thanks for the video Samuel, this motivated me to start sharing my videos. I’m a psychologist and a ‘perfectionist’ so I keep delaying the videos. I need to start with just 1 minute 😉
Loved the video - first rate as always ! It reminded me a lot of Tim Urban (wait but why) article on - 'how to beat procrastination' - still a classic after all these years. The 10 best TedTalks on Procrastination is worth a look to anybody struggling with this issue (Tim is ranked 1st fyi). As far as new video ideas - you've done some great stuff of getting yourself set up to success at study with all the various bit of tech and how to use it. Maybe how you go about your day and all the things you use to keep you on top of things and enjoying the process. How to bring all these skills and info together into a productivity system that minimises friction (for doing work) and impeding delay tactics. Also something on the 'big picture' on motivation, planning, goals, tasks etc. How you have your life set up for success (what you have in your backpack), apps on your phone, stuff on your desk, new tech, visual cues and stuff in your environment to keep you motivated etc. Maybe something on long term stuff - why and I putting myself through this thing called university in the first place - family expectations, greed, pride as well as more noble thoughts. Why you chose to be on the path that you are on (course/career etc) and how your thought processes informed your choice - talent, interest, family influences (good and bad) mentors, teachers, school career advisor etc.
Make it as RU-vid shorts. Like what tools you use on daily basis or what study hack you've discovered recently that you think might work on us, or you've discovered a new tool that makes studying or life in general or you can share your financial strategies like how you invest and stuff. There are whole host of things that can be done in Just a minute series!
I was doing a heck ton of work for school, getting really down and stressed, and then, suddenly i got a youtube notification saying Samuel suresh posted a new video, your videos make me really calm, happy and motivated, keep up the good work and I’m glad ur gonna be posting more now :)
I love everything you have done thanks Samuel Suresh san. If you feel tired you can read the comments. The comments that supporting to you, the comment that makes you move forward. Thanks to you after I watch many videos on your channel and I'm like wow how did you manage to do this fantastic video I think you must put much effort into it, but still, I am still procrastinating because It was my super talented after all lol. So until now, I have heard something like if you listen you get 10% of it. If you read you get 20% of it. If you write you get 40% of it. If you summary and take a note you get 70% of it. If you teach to someone you may get 100%. But It will not be working, if you just think in your head about what you will do. You have to say out loud so that's why I'm going to tell everyone that has seen this comment, I am going to be a badass programmer and study a lot about science, laws anything with motivation and someday I am going to build a rocket and go to the moon. I am going to build onzen and soak on it, drink matcha tea and watch beautiful earth from the moon. This is my dream. Someone might laugh but don't underestimate me. I will stop being procrastinators and I am going to be the scientist that everyone will recognize all the time. My legend is starting from now. Thank you to someone who finishes read all these chuunibyou texts. I love you guys. and importantly is you, Samuel Suresh. You are my hero!!!
Would like to see the video where you converted the notion notes into word pages. A preview was shown in the last video, although an in-depth video would be appreciated.
How did you choose your career? How did you give up other possible paths and become who you are today? Do you regret your choices ? I passed the national exams this year after a lot of work... but afterword i found myself lost...I have a lot of interests in many fields... however i want to choose a job and master it... I look forward to an answer.
I hope we really have new video from you after a week. We were waiting for a new one for months! lol I would enjoy to watch videos in which you take some quick notes of a class of yours and transform them into those marvelous masterpieces you had already shown on previous videos - but in that case, you would show us with more details all of the making of those colorful notes and illustrations you make in iPad.
