Do you ever have those straps come loose? I was always told "twice around the barrel" when tightening straps. In an emergency stop the friction of being wrapped twice around the barrel holds onto itself better. By starting with 6 inches of slack you get that length required. Yup it means more ratcheting but you load doesn't end up in the cab with you.

Feel bad for him. Hope he feels better. What did he hit? The curb should not have done that much damage. I mean I realize vehicles are not built like they used to, but just don’t see anything there that would do that much damage.

Because it’s required by the roadside companies we tow for, to get payed, but as said above Can’t have too many pics now days, because it’ll cover you when you get someone trying to claim preexisting damage.

I would always take pictures because the video content can get deleted on accident and that is called covering your butt plus the insurance company needs pictures 📸
