Congratulations on your retirement, keep busy, it wards off those tedious moments. I have to say, I am only a few months away from retirement myself but you still have colour in your 'tache, mine is as gray as a seal and has been for years, must be the climate..... A friend of mine just turned a cup for an Ostrich egg that was rolling about on a shelf, it looks good in Yew. As you asked the mind went blank about ideas for you, I shall also ponder a while....
+keyote3 thanks keynote, i doubt i will be sitting around that much. as you can see its going to take a while to paint the house... and then i still have a couple of rooms upstairs to finish. i think i have been lucky with my hair so far, in that it still has a bit of colour in it. my beard is snowy white but the tache insists on retaining a bit of brown. to be honest i think i will prefer it one colour lol. the only thing with retirement that feels funny and good is to be able to say no to commissions that don't take my fancy.
