I love the giraffes! They're so much fun to draw! I think I only draw cats and puffins more often. I've never drawn an ostrich before so this was exciting! 🪶

Hullo Emily, 🪶 I must say I do enjoy watching you work, a lovely video, well done! There was a fellow I went to school with, he became an animator and when I asked him how he did so well creating his drawings he said he did a lot of skeletal studies. The bones of the animal will help you figure out how to show foreshortening! Now, I did a lot of more realistic work so that I knew how an object or animal is supposed to be, so I could exaggerate or skew an element to make it funny, angry, or just weird! I bet you know this, but I just wanted to mention it just in case you have forgotten or perhaps have not had experience with changing animals or sometimes your instructors only talk about people. Working on a object is transferable to animals, yet sometimes we simply forget to create with this in mind 😊 Please take care, be safe and enjoy the rest of your challenge! I look forward to watching your final flip through!
