Her particular depth of voice, her personal reading about her how to set the interpretation, the wonderful use of vibrato and the ending of her interpretation are exceptional, for intuition and execution. This version was recorded outdoors and during the "Singing on the Border" show held every year on the border between Norway and Sweden, during the summer. On these occasions, almost every year, Angelina feels very comfortable and calm and manages to make the most of her great possibilities. ❤️ ❤️

At 10 years old in the states, she would be in the 5th grade. Elementary school! I can't even imagine that kind of talent and confidence performing live in front of (and behind) thousands of people from ANY child in elementary school. I have nothing but respect and best wishes for Angelina.

A true gem, she is a gift from God to be almost perfect. She has her faults, but so miniscule, not even noticeable, have to be proud parents, family as a whole! With the aide of Grandma, they have raised the most precious child with a giving heart that can not be matched. Even with the fame she remains very humble and appreciative of her surroundings. I first discovered Angelina here on RU-vid through a reactor. I wish I could remember the song. But then I had the thrill of watching her go through America's Got Talent and blow everyone away. Every day since then I've listened to at least one AJ song, out of her catalog of 136+ videos. I bought her album It's Magic (it really is) and her book, which made me cry. 2014 Gloomy sunday first few notes, she inroduced herself to Norway and Sweden. Few weeks later she made it to the late news as the youngest person win Norske talenter. Her voice and personality is extraordinary. Now she has developed in her musical skills and she has become selfevident to be in the center of attention. Its a joy to watch her grow up and see how she keeps getting better!
Since I Saw her on Norway got Talent,I've never seen her nervous.She sings with such calm.I love It when she uses her jazzy voice in some of her songs.
Found Angelina a little over five years ago and music appreciation changed for me forever. And then I found how this Angel's heart and soul was. Then came her amazing family, her mother Sara, Grandmother Mery, little sister Juliette and her dedicated manager uncle Michael.
How I found Angelina Jordan? A simple story, and pretty typical, I would imagine. About three years ago a video popped into my RU-vid recommendations...'I Put A Spell On You'...a song from more than half a century ago, sung by a nine year old slip of a girl who looked like she should have been back home playing with her dolls and who had somehow, along the way, lost her shoes. Then she started to sing....! How many times did I play that song over? I can't really remember, if I'm being honest. A dozen times, at least. She'd finish that incredible final note that seemed to go on forever, then she'd put her elbow up on the ledge and put her little finger to her chin and nod to herself as if to say 'Well, that wasn't too bad', and I'd hit the replay button, slack-jawed in amazement - mesmerized....hypnotized, completely spell-bound. And every time I listened to it, it sounded fresh and new and even more amazing than the last time. I spent the next few weeks bingeing on every single song by her that I could find on RU-vid, and Lordy, Lordy, it seemed like a never-ending stream of unreality. They were all the same...from the first note to the last, little gems, treasures to be held close and pressed to the heart, to be held gently and listened to not just with your ears, but with your heart and soul. There I was, a hardened old fart in his seventies who thought that there was nothing new under the sun, shedding tears at times like a schoolgirl in the throes of her first puppy love, and here I am today, thousands of listens later to so many, many songs, feeling feelings I thought lost forever, and when you put your finger to your eye to wipe away that tear, you were a few seconds behind me. After all this time and all those listens, she still does it to me. I never, in a million years, thought I would feel like this again. Like the first time I heard The Beatles singing 'She Loves You, Ya, Ya,Ya', on the Ed Sullivan show back in 1964. That's the kind of impact she had on me, and on millions of others, apparently. My day isn't complete any more unless I listen to at least one song by Angelina Jordan, and I imagine that's going to be the case until the day I die. Hopefully a long, long time from now. I want to see how this ends. Thanks for the reaction, and for spreading the love to your thousands of followers. Everyone needs to hear her in these trying times. She embodies the hope for the future.

@@musicluvr70 I'm guessing that is one year later. There is a very obvious pattern of steady improvement and refinement in Angelina's voice over the years. You can really hear it when you watch her perform the same song at a later date. A good example is Fly Me to the Moon, a song she sang over her whole career so far.

The first time I heard Angelina was in the song "It's Now or Never" by Elvis I heard it and then jumped a link to her song I could not believe what my ears hear and since every day I hear her again and again for so many songs she has on RU-vid and I am waiting for the record to be released ...
My first song I hear of hers was Goodbye Yellow brick Road on AGT. I've been hooked ever since. I have listened to every song of hers at least 30 times. At least!! I'm so enthralled with her she's literally the only artist I have listened to for the last year.

10 years old, can you believe it? She sang this great song again that same year at an indoor concert. It's impossible to say which one is better; it's just a matter of preference. I think you would enjoy hearing that one too, even if you don't react to it. As for what to do next, I would suggest going back to her earliest public appearances on Norway's Got Talent starting at age 7 with her audition singing Billie Holiday's Gloomy Sunday. She followed that up with Bang Bang, I'm a Fool To Want You, and Summertime, all spectacular performances that moved the judges to tears. She won, of course, after her 8th birthday. There is a video available that includes all four performances. I don't recall if this was the first I heard of her or if it was I Put A Spell On You, to which you reacted earlier. Have you checked out Rusty Shackleford's list? That would be a good place to start. Yes indeed, we want more Angelina!

Great reaction again NJ. Like many comments below, there are just so so many great songs by Angelina that it is really hard to pick one or two or whatever because they are all absolutely great. I have been following her journey since NGT competition and listen to the Angel every single day without fail, just make for a better day to be honest. You could put all her songs on a roulette wheel and always win. I do see a suggestion for "It's a Mans World" (James Brown) from her concert with the Norwegian Armed Forces band which will just explode your head for sure, so that is a great suggestion.
Yes, Angelina's voice is calming and warm and soothing and all that, until she uses it to blow your face off (like the ending here)! Great reaction sir. Great job! Getting confirmations from pro(s) like you confirms our senses - AJ is special. Most would have you start at the audition to Norway's Got Talent when AJ was 7. I think a video that is often overlooked and one that I find amazing is the video of AJ when she was 6 years old and she is recording a song at her school's studio. The song is called, "I WHO Have Nothing" - (as opposed to the song, "I Have Nothing" by W. Huston). You will see a pitch-perfect song that a 6-year-old should not be singing. Although she does fumble a bit, the song is amazing.
She has been singing years was invited on AGT. She gave her winnings from Norways got talent to charity. She gives a lot and sings for children in need or poverty. Doesn, t wear shoes as met an orfan when she was 6.gave her her shoes and won, t sing will shoes till all children have shoes. I used to watch “voice, got talent shows” then the kids versions when. I accidentally came across her version of gloomy Sunday on Norway’s got talent. I searched for her on iTunes bought her album it’s magic. Searched for more of her on RU-vid and found a treasure trove of cover. Thereafter I found reactions to her and follow (subscribe) to about 20, including you. For about 2 years I’ve watched her daily via reactors and her official channel. It’s like hanging out with friends who share my obsession with Angelina, the artist the person she is one of a kind. Love your reactions, good job keep them coming. Amazing reaction! You're probably not aware, but I've watched dozens of Angelina Jordan reactions and the very same thing that happens to me when I watch her sing happens to at least two thirds of each person who reacts to this amazing wonder. We all cry or get goosebumps, or both. It's almost as though she reaches right into your soul and conveys all of her warm, loving emotion like some sort of supernatural injection. I am 59 years young(I still feel, think and act as though I were still 20 yeas of age)and music has been my life! never, in all my years have I experienced anything like Angelina.
