There is no beginning or end to everything because it is only experiencing itself. The knowing is only experiencing knowing and the knowing is not coming to an end...when breakfast ends, when meditation ends, when the retreat ends. It is thought that divides this knowing up into objects, duration and... from the point of view of knowing it is just eternally present in its own experience of itself and it is taking the shape of the totality of experience

Yes, wonderful connection. Rupert has said that at the final stage, he says “knowing”, rather than “awareness” (its more clear that way, that all is known) and awareness is of course, consciousness itself.

@@darrenfromla From my understanding, in reference to objects, the first and only element of existence is the reality of that from which it is made - consciousness. In reference to one's own self, one's consciousness is the very heart and the only truth of one's existence. We *are* consciousness.

When mind becomes totally satvic in nature ( not disturbed by rajas n tamas anymore)...there is only knowing in experience..

No actually I think there is a difference here - you are neither the knower or the known - you are the knowing of the experience - you are neither John Smith or King Lear - you are the knowing that lies in between.
