I had a 76 Chevy long bed. oversized tires "Dream Weaver" drove to California from Illinois Paid $6K cash sold it a few months later for $4K worked at CBS Records.
Looks great. Glad to see that there are still nice older vans around. I had a couple of this vintage. Bought a new 1974 Chevy and worked on it for a couple years customizing it the way I wanted it. Took it to the Mardi Gras in 1976 and someone stole it. I ordered a new 76 model with all the options which included a 400 cu in engine that ran awesome. I got a 3:08 limited slip rear end and it would bury the speedo (100 mph) in second gear. As heavy as it was it would run 14.89 in the 1/4 mile at the Van Slam. I sure miss those days, of course gas was a lot cheaper then, it got around 16 mpg since it did not have overdrive. It had a turbo 400 with a B&M shift kit. It was no problem to leave a patch when it hit second gear.
One of the most beautiful bands I've ever seen. Wonderful job I'm fixing this one up. I would not drive this van on the highway, or park it in a public parking spot. Unless I had armed guards to stand on each Corner. LOL no one would park near me. LOL it's beautiful
