@b king what?? Really dude?? Longer gameplay? I checked the steam review and it was mostly negative because of the gameplay mission. You can finish the game with just 3 hours of gameplay. Thats why i dont want to buy this game because 3 hours of gameplay? That dissapointing
Christian It's definitely not 3 hours of gameplay to be fair. You have to unlock regions to unlock missions and that takes time. So no way it's three hours 😂
@@PerickParolo damn dude. Its because the people who reviewed that goddamn game and nope i dont play jc for story i played to see that goddamn explosion and all the chaos around the jc world so yeah I commented because the review. Thx
Im a huge fan of this franchise but i freaking hate what tehy did to the water ! Damn the water in JC2 and JC3 was amazing ! Now its more like a dirty swamp but the game in general looks good
Rico looks horrible in just cause 4, the lighting seems to have gone back to just cause 2 style, which is a shame since 3’s lighting and colour tone was amazing
But the gameplay of just cause 4 is very good as compared to just cause 3. If you are willing to buy any 1 of these so take JC 4 and you'll not regret that!
No is not just you..i been playing jc since day 1 and they change the look of the character he was more Spanish looking befor ..he looks mexican or Central American now... american now...
@@eighteen1741 They are both great games, when i wanna play just cause I'll think what I wanna do and then I play one of the two. I play them equally. But in Just Cause 4 I've noticed that you have more health and are much more immune to damage as well explosions.
HelloDucks ! Maybe I’m not in the best position to say this but since Christmas I’ve played 54 mins of just cause 4 , it’s to similar in gameplay but to different in menu and controls plus the spastic planes don’t help
@@eighteen1741 Just cause 4 has a LOT of new details,as new features. The best one to me is the cargo plane supply drop. But I miss the base Liberation System and the Vibes of Sicily. Ive played a lot Just cause 3 as Just cause 4,But I'm sure i played jc3 more than jc4. And I go to Italy three times a year for a long time now,and been to Sicily a lot of times.
@@motivation_exceeded6611wait listen before you buy. 2015 when i was lil and i saw jc3, damn that game was beautifull and fun to just watch. then 2020 i bought JC4 and damn was i dissapointed. Dont buy JC4 Bro it is horrible and it bores you so fast damn. Belive me JC3 is better
JC4, is now better looking and has improved graphics alomgside, more of that vibrant feeling. Oh, the wonders of videogame patches and a responsive dev team.
@@darkhorsed Thank god, because I absolutely loved JC3 and was looking forward to playing JC4, and I didn't want to have to go back to the older game just to have the same fun. Keeping my hopes up
Liberating in jc3 felt soooo much better, you didint run around doing mundane tasks you just blew up the whole fucking base, and afterword you could walk around and see debris everywhere from your chaos, it was awesome 😃
To be honest it's shit like that that makes me love this series so much. I wonder if the AI is crap in those aspects intentionally, because it's hilarious to me.
Yes, let's compare water on a sunny day to water on a cloudy day, and then judge it by which one looks more like water on a sunny day. 🤔 RU-vid comments = smart. If you looked at another video or played the game yourself, you'd know that the JC4 water on a sunny day looks the same.
Gas station explosions in 3 were some of may favorite things. Placing mines and detonating them only to be blown back by the force of the explosion was super cool.
@@paddie4552 as someone that has played both I think just cause 3 it better is has better destruction (what the game is about) and water effects but I will admit just cause 4 has some cooler dlc
@@DesertsOfHighfleet dont judge a game by its graphics, look undertale, metal gear rising revegeance, asura's wrath..that are not very hight quality nowadays
Just cause 3 looks like Rico Rodriguez crime fighting anti-big government BA. Just cause 4 looks like some guy named Eduardo Who sells half price chimichangas on the side of the street.
@@K311WasHere yeah, that, and the fact that the water looks absolutely horrific, even if you compare it to just cause 3. That may not be a big problem if there was less water, but I see a lot of water in that game.
But it looks REALLY bad on PlayStation because they have a god awful motion blur I just hope that in the future they will at least let you turn THAT off because it is awful
Imo, JC4 lacks what made JC3 my favorite game: Style and Charm. The story in 3 and the minor details in the background had just felt more entertaining to watch and be a part of, like when you would liberate a military base in 3 and a captive English reporter would release a fake story of what happened to cover up it’s destruction, getting more desperate and tired as more bases are destroyed.
A captured Scottish reporter, if you didnt know that was David Tennant in Just Cause 3 I enjoyed taking out outposts and hearing the cover ups afterwards which I feel jc4 missed out on
Yeah. That was pretty cool. One thing i like in JC4 to be honest is the radio, where the news react to your actions in the game. I would like to merge the 2 together. One government Sender and some "free" ones.
Joker Persona man people are dumb 😂😂😂 how old is GTA V and as soon as thar was released for the last gen and next gen they started to develop RDR2 and that was pretty much 8 years... working on two games at the same time?... You say RDR2 is rushed 150GBs??? Is that rushed???? Is 8 years rushed????
The story was also better in 3, I mean 4 had a good potential but the cut scenes were sloppy and felt like made in a rush, they also should have added the expansion pack or a little more too the story at the end. In 3 we had a big boss fight and 4 we didn't even crash into the villan ourselves.
However, although that's true, Just Cause is never about the story anyway. It's all about the gameplay and which is why I still would play Just Cause 3
Should've ended at 3, Rico saved his home, that would be a good end. Started playing 4 a few weeks ago because it was free with ps plus and I finally beat 3. Good to see I'm not the only one disappointed.
JC3 was running so bad on a normal PS4 and Xbox One. So i think they did if for performance. Schame they didn’t make a option for pc and the faster consoles. I skip because of this.
One thing I loved about Just Cause 4 was the front lines; if you ever wanted a break from the campaign whilst still enjoying some great action, you could go to the front lines, where a constant battle is being fought.
Same that has been happening helluva lot more frequently in the past few years.... the game development is abruptly finished to meet the deadline and give out an unfinished product.... imagine if jc4 release in December 2019 with all the issues fixed
And also still runs at 48fps lol Edit: wow.. some people took this reply very seriously. Relax guys, it was a joke about how poorly crysis ran back in the day
@@Nick930 Yeah, if you have a potato running it lol. I get a clean 60 fps on every crisis game with a 1070 gtx and ryzen 2700x I love how people comment about games they don't play xD
Give it 4 months and it will be cheap af, JC games always become dirt cheap after a few months because theyre nothing but reused textures and reskined maps, the game its nothing more than a sandbox.
It was worth it to me, and I've played JC2 and JC3 (finished JC3). I think it was the best game in the series especially in terms of storyline. No doubt it has a lot more you can do than in JC3. Also, most of these problems have been fixed. The waterfalls have changed, water in general has been tampered with (to an extent) but was overall a great game to get. And I spent $50 on it.
@@deadlybladesmith3093 I am not saying for you to shut up. I was jokingly quoting what a just cause 4 dev said. And the origin of the jesus thing had someone say "Shut up"
@@heatonashworth5105 I didnt think you were trying to tell me to shut up. Were all good. I forgot about this comment until the notification that you had responded to it.
Rico design in Jc3 looked so much better. Especiallt the grapple glove. It just doesn't looks as cool in 4, which sucks since the cover arts makes it seem otherwise.
And thehook mechanics ruined Rico, in jc3 you could have 1 heavy weapon, 1 normal weapon and 2 handguns, in just cause 4 you can only have 2 guns, and thecontrols in ps4 and xbo are ruined
Jc4 gameplay was awesome and story aswell and being creative but I loved to re-opress stuff like in jc3. And black hand voice was much deep and graphics like you said exactly.
Gavin Galaxy they downgraded them so it could hit better frame rates on consoles. What we really need is a port of just cause 2 to modern consoles but with some of the improvements of the later games
Yeah i really like how it reminds JC2, but they really should make something about the water.. Just Cause 3 Water was amazing and everything under water as well. I really don't understand how they even released Just Cause 4 with such water.. it looks like some placeholder texture
Sounds like a sophisticated and intelligent Kermit. I imagine him in a fancy office with a bookshelf and in a suit with a cigar in one hand and a glass of Scotch in the other
Capybara ok my bad you don’t have to write a whole paragraph because i said a game took place in italy i found out it takes places on an island in the mediterranean where rico was from
Duke Villamar rockstar is killing it with RDR 2 , that game looks AMAZING !!!!!! I can’t wait until gta 6 came’s out , that thing is gonna look so realistic ( sorry for bad English )
@@diegoalejandro8981 wooord bro, RDR2 is by far the most fun game to play with and you gonna admire how much work they put into the game like details and stuff.
Duke Villamar I have the game , it’s amazing I now , the details are so incredible . And this proves why they took so long to make this game but it was worth it
Noah Lach They downgrade it because consoles were having shitty framerate in Just Cause 3, since in that game the water had better physics and good reflections which are taxing for consoles
I think the tornado should have been stronger and pulled the player in at a much farther distance, its weird seeing trucks that are 40x the weight of you get sucked up like a strand of hay, but you just sit there unaffected.
Patches eliminated some of the issues. Also now vehicles leave trails in fields like they did in JC3 and Rico leaves footprints in sand and snow. Water is still worse than in JC3.
i played a while ago while on lsd and amnesia and it was the purest and best gameplay i ever had. the sounds, the graphics, the gameplay man it felt like a dream *Edit: more Like heaven in a dream in heaven
The worst about JC3 was the really terrible frame rate on consoles. 15-20 FPS in fights and I am still baffled how I 100% the entire game with all of its DLC.
I loved JC3. but i'm not really feeling JC4. I feel like the devs have been really lazy with it. The graphics have been a downgrade imo. maybe some textures are better, but there's just so much flickering, shimmering and texture popping. It feels low quality.
@@fantasmacstrp9239 If we had to give up visuals by THIS much maybe I'd rather have that worse performance. The devs are just incompetent, nothing else.
The sad thing is, when it's done for performance, which makes sense, why does it still look ugly on highest settings? Shouldn't there be options if you have a PC that can handle it?
The thing is they're not the ones releasing it, the publishers are releasing it on the day its supposed to come out.. They could've done more if they had more time.. Dont bash the developers they know what they're doing.. Plus they werent focusing on graphics.. They wanted new stuff like weather before any major, MAJOR, graphical improvements... I do agree they should've made sure the game looked good before release but they were forced.. Who knows maybe they found out at last second and couldn't do anything about it?! But anyways Ill get off of here but I am just saying..
Just cause 3 water: waves and ships hitting the waves: Just cause 4 water: Yeah let's just put a full on decal and make the boats float in the air *edit Just to put it, Medici was very vibrant, it was beautiful, yet when you zip around in Solis, it feels, eh, soggy, it's blurry too. JC4 was more simple, it may have held your hand a bit but that's what made it fun, jc4 just threw you into it, the missions were confusing and weird, and I enjoyed liberating bases and towns to get completion and provinces. I just personally believe that JC4 is still an amazing game, but it felt way too unfinished and lackluster to top the experience that jc3 provided.
NimbleNeh As good as the JC3 water was, it might have been a little overdone, as in the waves were sometimes much to large to boat close to land. I loved it though. Sad that JC4 left this behind, I’m pretty disappointed about how they made an entire game many people felt wasn’t Just Cause
I think the water was toned down because of the extreme weather system. In real life the greenish water seen in JC3 only happens when the sky is clear and sunlight can easily refract with the algae within the water. The problem comes that in JC3 the water never changes so probably the developers simply prebaked the hue to stay the same. In JC4 the game may sudden change the weather and lighting properties so having a prebaked super contrasted and vibrant water shaders wasn't simply a good option so Avalanche probably decided to go with a more subdued tone that while less visually impressive (ex: dull) simply worked better with the dynamic nature of the lighting and weather systems.
Honestly, if JC4 had the more dynamic water aesthetics of JC3, a LOT more ammo, as well as having a more vibrant, larger and more sensibly diverse open world, then it would've been perfect in my opinion. Btw, what I mean with the world is that the map of JC4 is built around the weather gimmick, where there's just a large desert, a large rainforest, a large plains area, and a snowy set of mountains in the middle to seperate it all. I'm not a designer or a dev, so I can't really give a really good example of how to do it better, but the layout of the world doesn't feel real, or that it makes sense in a lot of ways. Yes, it's a video game and far from real life, but then I would point to Medici as the counter-argument. Easily one of the best designed and (in my opinion, as a sucker for the Mediterrarean) most beautiful open worlds that I can think of.
Other than the explosion bass, JC3 totally beats JC4. How the hack you guys even think JC4's better? Wind is way weaker, and that shooting sound...you ever heard gun fires?
i think the gun sounded a bit more bassy in jc4 and the explosion too but the surround sound in just cause 4 was so good to hear when the gas station exploded i have 7.1 Headset and it was great compared to jc3 .... still didnt make up for the bad water simulation compared to jc3 yet we will see hopefully they get that fixed soon
Just cause 3: very vibrant, looks like your in an action movie, no consideration taken for FPS. Just cause 4: much more detail in landscapes and much more realistic overall, and toned down detail else where to improve on FPS. Just Cause 2: perfect balance.
Surprisingly, I think years after JC3's initial launch the optimization got better, at least on my rig. JC4 runs better outside of random dips in frammerate when entering different biomes
Forget about the graphics, the gameplay is substantially worse. It seems like bases have nothing to blow up, wingsuit challenges blow, no destruction challenges after you liberate, and where dafuq are my sticky bombs?
Mojang to be fair, Rico stands on top of jet liners without and equipment and doesn’t fall off, so either he has godly magnet shoes or he weighs a couple tons.
