@@Acenis It is. I worked at Amazon until the DSP went under. I then went to FedEx HD and realized I'd be getting less money for my hourly labor than Amazon. I was told I'd be delivering out of a Penske truck for a while. I left after 2 weeks and went back to Amazon making 19 an hour driving their big step vans.
@@Acenis oh boy that's a long story, so much wrong all the time. i was there about a year, left and got a job at Frito, money is absurdly better and the work is also better
In general independent jobs are always a hit or miss lol used to work for Flowers baking and being independent contractors can be hard to work with sometimes so i moved over to bimbo and same job just better pay and benefits as well
Does the shorts and leggings combo keep you pretty warm? I hate the FedEx uniform pants and never thought of that option before. I think you live somewhere a little warmer than I do though.
Where I deliver in the uk if I left my van open packages would be disappearing at every stop even if I was gone for 10 seconds. Looks like a nice route thanks for the vid
Make sure you wear that seatbelt man. My car was totalled in a shopping center parking lot, I've also heard horror stories of delivery drivers getting thrown from vehicles in accidents. Good video, very efficient.. Wear that seatbelt though and stay safe!
Bro as a amazon driver the amount of time I am looking for packages is wild I would prolly get done so much sooner with them all orginzed well like that, they basically just give them to use in big totes saying welp sort it yourself or find it as it comes, I try to lay out 5-10 stops ahead but at the beginning of the day that SuckSSS to do with so little space

This is so crazy! Ive been a Ground Driver for about 3 almost 4 years now. I cant believe you are driving manual! hahah Also man where's your IPad?! They dont give you an Ipad with Groundcloud to work off of? I typically do rural routes so I only have about 50-80 stops everyday in a p500 step truck. You might think thats easy but my roads and the places I go to are super rough! Im talking HERMITS and people who live out in the woods in the middle of no where lol. I get in at 8:00 everyday and home by 4:30. 6:00 when I get bad luck and have terrible addresses. Winter time is the worst for me, I get my truck (Big Dirty Betty) stuck A LOT lol. My truck is so old the belt is worn out so I can only get up to 55 mph but hey "shes" good to me I guess! xD I was laughing @1:54 with the scanner lady.... Every time I hear her I always say it along with her "DeLiEvErY InStRuCtIoNs CuStArY QuE FrOnT DoOr!" Its true that every time you say it you get good luck! :))))
@@LunatiKz thanks, but i meant walking steps, it looks like you walk and do stairs quite a bit. unless of course you walk 150-200,000 steps a day which would be very impressive.
Nice! The key to maximizing income in FedEx ground is finding a contractor that pays a good rate along with a route that does big numbers. All contractors pay differently. Some are shady and some are great. Good luck!
