Or Farmers with their poison spears. They are taking over their space to roam... The Elephants have a path spanning millions of years and humans are taking over their space. Spearing them when they have to pass through their farm It's tragic. I miss not knowing the details and reality. Ignorance is bliss but doesn't promote change.
@@adridave1Very true. And as development in Africa continues, so does fragmentation of more wildlife habitats; building hotels, roads, pipelines, power lines, to house the hoards of tourists, safaris, and social media channels stalking wildlife like crazed paparazzi chasing after celebrities.
They were fine before Europeans instilled a system of money across the globe and took land from Africans that they survived on to mine for resources. For THOUSANDS of years AFRICANS took care of these creatures with no harm of going extinct and there were no poachers. Poachers exist because of the current world economic system.
I can't understand why anyone would want those tusks as "hunting trophies". They are a thousand times more gorgeous when they are attached to the rightful owner.
@@kingcosworth2643we understand that a$$h@les do those kinds of things. But we still do not understand why anyone would want to harm animals especially elephants who evolved with us in Africa and are much like us. They have families and social networks just like humans, and are extremely intelligent.
The tuskers are in Amboseli Kenya. Very few left. Craig is famous but Tolstoy who was also a great died this year. They are gentle giants and humans are their plague.
What a MAGNIFICENT animal. This looks like the same elephant that calmly walked through several dozen hippos in their water hole and they never once "objected."
Wir waren vor 2 Wochen in Tsavo East und Amboseli und haben diese wunderschönen Elefanten gesehen. Alle Elefanten haben sich so langsam bewegt. Es war ein wundervolles Erlebnis.
@@shriharihudli They absolutely think about us if they observe you like this. He made an assessment that these humans were mostly harmless. And he knows we are very different from the other animals.
@@hopegaming867Testosterone it's the God hormone,I've been hit by that when looking in a girls eyes, gave such a rush of strength that I've felt invincible.
Would you look at that magnificent elephant what stories you must have to tell over time you must have seen so much you have traveled so far you are magnificent❤🙏🏼
Such a magnificently monstrous beauty!! I don't think I could be still when he came so close, but all props to the person who can!!! I hope he lives to a very very old age!!!
A mighty animal. A lion attack looks cute compared to an elephants attack. But luckily they are so gentle. It is so beautiful to see that the animal kingdoms boss is a gentle creature which doesn’t want anything bad. I respect them absolutely ❤️ ❤️ 🐘 🐘
Actually they can be very dangerous if they're startled, and they are easily startled. And keep away from even tame males if they are in must. (Indicated by fluid leaking down side of their head.) I've encountered them in the wild. We were allowed to get within meters of white rhinos on foot, (they can be dangerous too, but the guide knew to study their body language.) but with the wild elephants we had to stay in the vehicle. We may have been okay, but the guide wasn't taking that chance. But, yes if they're unthreatened and it's not mating season and you keep your distance, you should be okay.
Have seen white rhinos in Kalahari in Namibia and elephants in Etosha in Namibia. Both are so cool but that’s true they are very dangerous. Especially elephants, white rhinos are considered to be more dangerous than they really are, they are relaxed. But African elephants especially the bulls are insane. They exhibit such a power. And if they become aggressive they are really dangerous. I know that in India they put the bull elephants in Musth into chains and don’t let them drink or eat to make the musth period shorter. But it sometimes makes their behaviour worse and sadly the elephants don’t die rarely from these methods. But an elephant in musth is so dangerous for other animals or humans that it’s no option to let one of them in proximity to other animals or humans otherwise it will kill or violent humans or animals or they will do colossal damage and chaos
ELEPHANTS are the real Giants of the Animal World ❤ THEY ARE SENSATIONAL MESMERISING SENSITIVE FAMILY BONDS 🙏🙏🙏🙏THEY SHOULD BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS🐘🐘🐘🐘🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
When I was a kid in the 70's and 80's you NEVER saw big tuskers like this on the nature shows. NEVER. It's a great feeling to see effective conservation at work.
Amazing to see this massive animal pass without taking much interest. His see and done just about everything an elephants his age experiences. The fact that his tusks are as long as they are is testament to his dominance in his elephant world. Big fellow.
Easy psychology to read. A wise bull with decades of experience. Leads from the front to defend the heard. He has encountered many a human and his vehicles. Calm and collected he wanders up but realizes early (once his eye adjust) no big deal. And carries on. They really are more virtuous and noble then we. Just trying to endure and survive with the stoicism of an old sage.
Such a beautiful and majestic great Tusker. PLEASE protect him and keep him safe. What a mitzvah/blessing to have crossed paths with this wonderful modern day mammoth 🙏🏽😇🦣🐘❌⭕️🕊️
Folks, just remember the effort of strength this ele has to constantly maintain, in carrying the huge weight of ivory around - almost certainly over 100lb of ivory in his right tusk, and over 80lb of ivory in his left tusk!! 👍
Such beauty & dignity. This creature deserves his life spared. Not taken for the ivory in the teeth growing out of his wise face. Hopefully he's guarded 24/7 like all of his brothers are. It would be a tragic loss if poachers found him. He must be protected no matter the cost. He's why ppl love Africa. Him & the lions, leopards, cheetahs, herds of elephants, antelopes & all of the other animals that make Africa iconic & the motherland to all of us. Without the wildlife, especially the lions, elephants & others, etc... Africa is just a third world country that has nothing special to offer the world in terms of tourism. There's really nothing much ppl want to spend thousands of dollars to see.
Such a huge and magnificent animal. They can be so graceful like this. He walks like he is on egg shells, slow and easy.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊 These people r so lucky to see this in person.
@@beastinfection638 Elephants have limited angles of vision with a superior ability to see forward rather than sideways or backward. Eyesight is considered poor in bright light but in dim light movement can be detected at up to 45m
As a kid I used to see where they would display captured ivory tusks from poaching and I wondered what these would look like on these animals? Today, thanks to the brave rangers who protect these creatures, generations of people will now see these creatures in their glory. An amazing animal.....wow!
