Just For Men Control GX Grey Reducing Shampoo Test and Review 

Bout to turn 40, can't believe I looked this up.

For those wanting to use this. Buy a scalp massager for use in the shower, apply the product directly to that to avoid hand staining.

MY HONEST EXPERIENCE: Week 1: I was very excited to make this product work. I used it everyday for 5 minutes. I did wear gloves to avoid coloring my fingers. Week 2: Not too excited, product didn’t do much, just changing the grey hair a little. Week 3: I was losing hope in this product, but I kept using it. I was starting to realize that this product was going to change just a little my gray hair, my hair was darker but still noticeable grey hair. Week 4: by the end of this week I realized that this product work, hiding my gray hair the way I wanted, it really covered. In the first 25 days I was thinking a lot what other comments mentioned about the previous formula being better and that this current formula wasn’t that good. I don’t know about that, I am happy with this product, I just bought a second bottle to have it ready when I finish the first bottle. Just be patient and you will see the results. I have black hair. I did change my color to a darker black, but not too dark. Now I am using it twice a week to keep the color I want. I hope this helps you :)

I'm a bit late to the video, but thanks for this. I've been contemplating possibly utilising this shampoo after I'd scared myself walking past a hall mirror and catching myself out of the corner of my eye thinking I'd seen my grandad back from the dead.

Purchased their beard only product based on this vid. Though, go by other Amazon reviews left the product on for longer than directed. Am very happy with results, the fact that some grey remains gives a very natural look. I have turned back the clock by about 10 years!

Use gloves to avoid the stain 👍you could rinse and dry gloves after using it to repeat the process next day 👈

I used this product. It does slowly darken your hair. It also caused horrible exma and psoriasis on my scalp and started thinning my hair and I was losing hair. No more of this product for me since last summer unless I want to lose my hair

Causes hair loss! I have very thick hair and read about some consumers who used this product complain about losing hair after using this product. I chalked that up to them suffering from male pattern baldness and blaming the product as a scapegoat until I started losing my hair. It occurs with prolonged use while using the product every other day when you achieve your desired look as maintenance use. I immediately stopped using the product and hope that the damage that caused hair loss affected the hair shaft and not the follicle itself. This may not occur with every user of this product but take heed that it may!

I have been an avid user of Control GX grey reducing shampoo for a couple of years no. Always happy with the results. HOWEVER I recently used Control GX with conditioner. Instead of my hair going the usual dark grey colour , it went to an awful light brown . dark blond hue. I immediately returned to my normal ( without conditioner) shampoo but this awful light brown./dark blond colour persists. Any suggestions ? This has never happened before.

I use marigold washing up gloves. Lasts for years & easy to wash off.

Don't use the new formula,it gives your hair a ginger tinge. Been using this product for years with great results but since they changed to a new formula the results a terrible. Bring back the old formula. Read a lot of reviews recently and everyone says the same.

Arm and hammer toothpaste is great for getting stains off of your hands.

A bit late but I recommend just using touch of grey hair dye first. Go a shade less than your natural color (ie real black looks very fake) leave in full 5 minutes. Very good instant results. Then u can just use the coloring shampoo a couple of times a week to maintain the color. This is the quickest and least hassle free way to keep some of the grey away.

Coloring works very well and as I expected. Short hair on the sides doesn't color well. But HAIR LOSS is very common with this product. Definitely happened to me I've been using it for about 6 years.

It works really well if you leave it on damp hair for an hour.

Suggest you use throw away gloves. My wife's hair color products comes with gloves you throw away. Also use a lapel microphone to avoid your voice sounding like it is coming from across the room with that slight echoe.

USE LATEX GLOVES ITS THAT SIMPLE.

I've used the Just For Men beard and Mustache product for years, well now the hair on my head is completely grey and I'm thinking about trying out the new JFM Control GX Reducing product, but I haven't seen any videos of other mature men doing so and wonder if it worked for them. Could you post any videos such as completely grey-haired men's results that have used your new GX formula please?

These results seem a lot more subtle and natural looking. When every hair is dyed the same color, it can look unnatural like wearing a wig. Curious how long the color lasts with the shampoo? Does it keep getting darker and darker with more uses? Does the color eventually completely fade away after you stop using it?

Do I have to make wet my hair before to apply it?

Pffff, it seems that all of it ended up on your hands than in your hair! The top of your hair is not dark as a result of the shampoo! The sides being all grey as the hair is thinner shows the Shampoo's non existent impact! I dye my dad's hair! The top of his head is thick as i cut it for him to about 19mm! Even if i dont cut his hair for weeks, youd only see the grey if you run your hands thru his hair! But the Greek on the sides are much more noticeable after maxminum two weeks as usually i cut it to 6mm! Thanks for the review! Saves me from wasting money getting it!

Any help, would be appreciated.. Started to use this product 2 weeks ago, used it every day in the first week leaving it on for 10min. Before rinsing. The second week used it for 3 days as I am happy with the result. The only problem I got is orange spots in hair on direct sunlight, all greys are orange now. Am I doing something wrong, and how can I fix it? Should I use it more or less? Thanks

A green scour pad and dish soap usually gets stains out of my hands.

Dude your hair looks great. Are you only doing laser helmet thing and that's improving the volume or you would say it's just because you grew it out

Everything (water)turns purple in the shower..if you did it in first before you rinse it will look darker ..cool produce.

Try putting lotion on your hands before washing ypur hair. Should help keep the die from penetrating the skin.

Do you find this shampoo looses its productivity halfway through the tube i.e the shampoo goes blacknand is not efficient at all

Easy fix for the hands. Just wear a latex reusable glove while you rub it in.
