I found our car faster with the headlight in. With it out it must really upset either aero or act like a big air dam. Was a consistent 2/10s.

That is a thing of beauty! The best sounding zf I've heard. You can tell which Falcons have zfs on these Heathcote videos, they're the ones that sound like they have 18 gears and the owner is tapping the brakes and on and off the throttle every second or two haha this beast is just bang bang bang how it should be💪 well done lads

I never got my XR6T to sound good and you just don't hear many that do, so hats off! This beast and the Skyline sound awesome. And congrats on a successful trip for all involved!

Thers plenty of Awesome Barra shops and cars around but that gearbox is something Special!!! They are smooth nice to drive to drive compared to a t400 or glide! Just wonder the cost difference to a between that and a 1500hp rated SFI spec"d t400 for around 10-15k? Ill get me destroked billet crank and bottom end built by dynomite whos already built my hot and cold side being in Melbourne, but we cant turn it up yet. And im still running the tr6060. Part of me wants a dog box so i can be flat shifting but other part of me knows an auto will be faster and id love a ZF to cruise when the cars on 20, airbox and in street mode..

Pretty sure robs top dog package on the zf is about 15k drive in drive out 👍 from what I've researched a th400 swap done properly at decent power rating is about a 20k ordeal

The FG Falcon turbo, with a cage and bigger intercooler etc, is nearly 2000kgs. A lot of mumbo is needed to make a 2T car go 8.3 secs.

Lol this isn't even Aus fastest barra, quite a few deep in the 7s ,a few well into the low 6s in pro mod style cars though. Fgs are heavy af , they're 1700kgs stock and there not pushing the full 1400hp here either.

yep with the right gear any car will do sub 8's down the 1/4, its all about the right combo diff ratio and auto gear sets and also more importantly when the max torgue is at and that where the gear changes happen, you do not need 2,000 hp to get 8's, ( but this car has at least 1200 HP at the wheels ) In reality if the right gear ratios based on hp and light weight of the car and the right tyres and temp ( outside temp) which is why they had bad sessions in WA way to hot temps, yet in VIc its like 12 degrees when they do the runs, perfect air temps. Just imagine when its like 8 degrees c or lower air temps. Well done keep up the great work guys. 👌🦘🦘✌👍

track temp is more important than air temp, it was 21c air temp there, perfect conditions. If it was 8c, the track may not have enough temp in it.
