@@grim1044 i normally take on the fishron first he is not that hard if you know what are you doing and have an accessory on dodging his attacks (shield of cthulhu) plus happy is playing on classic mode so beating duke is not that of a big deal i beat him on expert almost on first try, on master it can be cheesed using teleports to dodge his third phase fast attacks, so it's not that hard boss.

Sometimes you get lucky and shot forward in power very fast. When I was in the dungeon and farming for items I got blue moon out of the normal chest there and it does 54 on pc normally. Using the action button causes you to wind it up in a constant swing and your surrounded by your own DPS. I...did pick up a godly one by accident but even without a good enchantment its will help a LOT.

You do not need to do everything in the video. As the way he progresses through the game isnt how you would normally progress. The main example is fighting queen bee before every other pre-hardmode boss. She is meant to be third to last.

In my summoner play-throughs, I like to start by breaking a crimson heart/shadow ball and acquire that world's evil's gun to get the arms dealer. From there, I challenge skeletron with the meteor armor and the space gun. After that I buy the quad-shotgun and laugh uncontrollably for hours at the thought of not doing a ranger play-through and continue to play the game how Relogic intended.

A little thing: If you use a whip that gives you attack speed with whips you can use another one for two seconds, that means you can use the jungle one, the dark harvest or the durendal to increase your attack speed. Another thing is that you can use the obsidian armor of pre hardmode if you did the Empress of Light at night and you can't do it in daytime, that gives you more DPS if you're hitting with the whip and more range :D

As of 1.4.3, we got a new early game summoning item, the abigail flower, which is a nice and easier to find alternative to the abigail flower. It's also quite op for early hardmode (it gets quite some buffs in hardmode), so it becomes a great alternative for blade or sanguine staff (by the way, I think you can get up to 60 or 50 armor penetration with balde staff) although I don't think this info would change much things, just less grinding

In a recent play through I took advantage of the Abigail’s Flower. It is insanely OP and will do you nicely until you upgrade to the terraprisma - yes it is that good. 2k+ dps pre golem is unheard of.

One buff I don't see you using is the tipsy buff (debuff technically) and while it doesn't specifically give anything for summon damage, it has a +10% melee speed buff which applies to whips

For me as a summoner, i actually defeated EoC with a finch staff in Master mode FTW, it took 185 tries, because EoC in Master FTW deals 129 damage, and 79 damage in its 2nd form, but when I saw this guide, i knew I had messed something up, i forgot the snapthorn existed, so tnx a lot for the guide Happy :>.

@@Jay-jo6bz I think the most painful part of ranger is getting that damn fossil armour which is why I decided the next time I play ranger I'm going straight for the necro armour, on hardmode ranger has a mostly smooth journey though, if you're more of a bow enjoyer and daring enough you can also challenge fishron right after getting frost armour and stormbow, after getting the tsunami you can consider 90% of your journey ended here because it can carry you all the way to the pillars.

I'd love to see a new OP Summoner video, especially with the changes to the Stardust Guardian and the new biome. Currently playing on a Legendary world and the wave events are proving a fun but noteworthy challenge ^^

One important note is that the sangwin staff got heavily nerfed with the 1.4.4 update as it fixed a bug where the sangwins could hit a target multiple times with contact damage but now it will only hit once’s before returning to you and repeating the cycle They are still good for the mech bosses but overall the blade staff from queen slime might be a better alternative now

WARNING IF YOU DO LIKE READING YOU DONT NEED TO, ITS POINTLESS TO READ: its just if you are good at this game and play it 400 hours to play something like expert mode, he is playing on some easy mode that I never play it before and there you can do anything like go for skeletron or even a wall of flesh in 3 days. But you are weak and cant deal with some of those monsters it is more relaxing and happy playing but more play time to go. Its hard to play games that make people do something and do things that you should make you to do. Thats why some people like me dont finished games that are for the "try harders". There is games that are playing differetly and make the gameplay different but I dont need to talk about this. (another comment that I stared and couldnt stop writing :| have a good day and try something that is harder than beating minecraft on normal mode and try to look at some games that are cool to look at that you couldnt stop in 5 mins of playing. I NEED TO STOP WRITING...I start writing comment that I just wanted to write and make me to write some more, sometimes I hate my self for writing these comments. sry for let you read so long comment.) If you read it to the end plz like or dislike the comment to see who let me comment something for no reason. I just want to see who read these pointless opinnions.

Tip: If you're playing early summoner in expert/master, you could get the fishing equivalents of the Cloud in a Bottle, Hermes' Boots, Shiny Balloon, as well as the frog leg. These items are functionally the same and the Hermes' Boots equivalent can also be crafted into the Terraspark Boots, as well as the Shiny Balloon equivalent having it's own crafting tree. Just a suggestion!

Ive been playing mastermode casually for my first time (also first time playing 1.4 and playing on PC) Im about to fight WOF but I'm glad that up to that point i unknowingly had a very similar setup to what was laid out here. I have been worrying that i have been doing really bad.

If your playing in master mode you can also add in your terraspark boots and wings with the 2 extra accessory slots, and if you need a shield just take out the Pygmy necklace since it only provides one extra minion

If you look closely at 20:13, you will see that Happy has a goodie bag in his inventory. This means that he was filming this video in October. Bruh this must’ve taken months and months. Massive respect for you bro.
