Have you ever wondered what it would have been like if we woke up in a different Universe where Stan Lee didn't create Marvel's biggest superheroes and instead worked for DC? in today's video we're going to discuss just that because in 2001, We got to see what that alternate reality would have held for us, and all we had to do was just imagine.
Stan Lee is most famous for creating I mean basically all of the Marvel universe that we know today minus characters like Captain America. Stan crazy characters like Iron Man the Fantastic Four the X-Men the Hulk and heck even spider-man. but what if he created characters like Batman Superman Wonder Woman and even brought them all together in the Justice League.
In 2001 Stan finally bridge the gap between Marvel and the distinguished competition. over the last 80 years dozens if not hundreds of comic book writers and artists had floated between Marvel and DC. whether it be Jim Lee who most famously drew the reboot of X-Men in the 90s Before leaving to co-create image comics with other famous Marvel creators, before going over and becoming the new publisher at DC, or even Jack the king Kirby who was the co-creator and artist for Captain America and many other original Marvel superheroes who eventually had a falling out with the company and join DC to create characters like the new gods and even Darkseid. but Stan wouldn't go and just create a new character that could be used by DC in perpetuity. in fact what he did instead was reimagine their most popular characters giving them the Marvel treatment and changing who they were on a fundamental level giving them entirely new histories and names.
