The vinegar soak works very well IF your consistent. My son had toe fungus very bad, I had him soak his feet for about half an hour on vinegar and warm water. After the very first use the results were amazing. The red flush all over the bottoms of his feet was completely gone the heat and itching with it. The toe nails looked very different also. He skipped soaking several times. But as mom, I had to be consistent, every time he came for a visit I had him soak his feet in vinegar. Eventually his toenails began to grow out with new tissue not poisoned with fungus. I got him different tennis shoes and socks also. I really appreciate these videos you put out. Consistency is a huge part of healing in natural medicine. Thank you very much for the videos and information.

Even if u kill the fungus, the part of the nail which has already been damaged and changed color, will not turn into a healthy looking nail in weeks or days..the damaged nail will just be pushed out as healthy nail grows and it may take several months depending on how long (from nail bed to tip) the damaged nail is..

1) Just file the top of the nail with a nail file then 2) try Vicks Vapo rub menthol gel spreading it over the top of the nail. 3) Next top it with a sprinkle of baking powder. That's it. This gets rid of even the darkest fugus in about 2 weeks or less if you do it every other day as I heard about it and was amazed by how fast and efficient it works. Note: The remedy in the video mentions using too many ingredients to keep making the solution plus the tree oil will smell and people will know you have an odor that could indicate you are treating yourself for a toe fungus.

Hello Dr. Vivek, WHAT can one do about the socks and shoes???? How should one treat them???? It is easy to recommend treatment for toenail fungus but what about the rat's tail- shoes, slippers etc.etc!!

This doctor has really great advice, working from the inside out. I have tried everything, and recently decided to put a more concentrated effort into getting rid of this fungus. I like the Fungal nail revitalizer, which has a blue light therapy, which I bought on Amazon for around $25.00. It has been working great. I also do epsom salt soaks, and have put baking soda mixed with vasoline on the toenail and into the top as far as I could. I also ordered the toe nail patches but I am so far not too impressed with them. I keep my toenails clipped short. I also eat a lot of sugar free jello to make the toenails grow. I also use store bought athletes foot cream. I put it all over my feet and between the toes, because athletes foot can crawl underneath one's toenails. I believe until its gone, one can't try too many cures for fungal nails. I am going to add the Dr's internal cures to my routine.

Hello doctor vivek. Thanks for sharing this video. Since the past few months I've noticed that both my thumbs got darken n I've been soaking my feet in salt n lime water but didn't see any results! I didn't know that these are nail fungus until I see ur video.One day after gardening I removed my boots and I was shocked to see my thumbs were dark! Initially I thought that it was some soil or dirt on my thumb n I applied so many products to get rid of them but in vain. Two days before I bought apple cider vinegar and tea tree oil n some my feet with the along with water n the results were magical. After a few seconds after putting my feet in apple cider vinegar n tea tree oil the fungus I could see all the black dirt coming out of my nails. I was so happy. But on the second day after doing the same thing the fungus did not come out! Will keep trying for some times n let people know the results.

Increase your immunity. Avoid junk. Apple cider vinegar - dip it in for a min and leave it on for an hour. Tea tree oil, neem oil also helps. Mahamanjistha Kwath 20 ml with water to consume 30 mins after having food. I’m going to try this. Thank you, Doc 😊 Bleach also can work like apple cider vinegar. My toe nail fungus keeps coming back, one home remedy which has worked for me is - I grind together garlic, baking soda and vinegar. Store in fridge or it stays good outside for 15 days . Just once a day I apply the paste on the toe for half hour and wash it off. But before you start this you need to clean and cut the nail as much possible.

Good rid of my fungal nail infection with Vicks. Rubbed it on the nail for a week.

I regularly soak my feet in a solution of vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, bicarbonate of soda and Epsom salts. It can both cure and prevent toenail fungus. It is great for dry, hard or cracked skin. I find it also softens toenails, which are easier to clip.

I got toe nail fungus at an early age of 14 years and it got so bad and thick. If anybody even slightly tread upon my toes, it would give maddening pain. I tried to surgically remove it twice, no use and very painful. But the pain stopped. I will try to use the above suggestions. Thanks doctor.. I would request everybody to not share their toe nail cutter/clippers for your normal nails or with others. Sterilize then after each use. I feel, i got it from using my grand mas nail cutter in childhood. Later in my old age, my husband also got the fungus due to sharing nail cutters. We both are quite healthy with good immunity, still we got the fungus. I had read about this 10 years back and since then we do not share it with anybody and also immediately sterilize it. Of course, trauma to the nail is also one another reason for the fungus.

I never had a problem with toenail fungus when sneakers were still made of leather. Since the proliferation of synthetic materials that don't breathe now I do. It's difficult to find reasonably priced real leather sneakers anymore.

My toenail fungus has gotten better after putting on apple cider vinega. I probably have a good immune system, but I think blood flow also matters and could be one of the reasons I got the nail fungus anyway, (also in the summer, which is now, I only wear sandals not boots)

Soaking toenails in bleach mixture for 2 min a day works to.

This does work. An elderberry friend told me to mix apple cider vinegar (raw) with the mother in it with smashed garlic and apply it to my toe. Fungus went away
