Just because there was 44,000 hours doesn't mean the event went on for 44,000 hours - twenty cameras showing different angles of one room gets pretty pointless to show all the different angles. Neither that or the J6 committee doing the same thing (but in their favour) was censorship however - when people tried to prevent carlson from airing the clips now that is when it became censorship.

If any company banned customers outright for holding any liberal views, there would be calls for the company to be shut down or mandated by the government. Plus, some of these companies are not actually "private property" but publicly traded companies. Zuckerberg may own most of Facebook/Meta, but it's on the market with investors. It's a public company.

That issue also deals with massive misinformation. People are being told that they can swich sex and they cannot. THAT, by itself, is misinformation. Those ''experts" should be questioned as to why they're stating things as facts when those are not real facts. Real science is based in reality. It seeks to gain concrete knowledge, it doesn't seek to take advantace of people's ignorace in order to promote their personal ideology. That sounds more like a cult than science. So, if you ask me, the licences of those experts should be suspended and reviewed to understand when exactly they believed that people can literally change their genes through surgery. A man is a XY choromosome, a woman is an XX chromosome. No amount of surgery will ever change that and just because people exist with mental illnesses doesn't mean we should be butchering them up with random surgeries. I think the thing that most people are missing is that you cannot have a successful debate with either the far left or the far right. They are so deep in cognitive dissonance that they are not able to perceive reality. I know that a rational person wants to reason with someone of a different view, hopefully in pursuit of the core truths that any reasonable person should be able to recognize. The fact is that one cannot reason with the irrational. It is so disheartening and frustrating, but it is what it is. This applies to both extremes and we really do ourselves a disservice by only pointing at the side we dislike more and acting like the irrationality is concentrated only "over there".

I and many people I associate with will point at and poke either side if they do something ridiculous or unscrupulous... unfortunately the majority of people perpetuating these unreasonable ideals and pushing "their truth" are the ones who are overwhelmingly emotionally infantile which tends to be more on one side than the other. That's not to say you cannot be emotionally invested or passionate about a subject when you discuss it, but you should debate the stances based on merit and facts rather than desires and feelings.

There certainly is misinformation and disinformation. The Babylon Bee does not fall into that catagorization because they are putting out satire, not news.

There is information that is factually incorrect. For example, claiming that 2 + 2 is 5. If you simply can't do math, that's just ignorance - which is normally fixable - unless you are too stubborn. But, I think the point of dis/mis-information is intentionally and maliciously spread information that is factually incorrect when you know differently - aka "a lie." However, I think the notion is even applied to those that sincerely believe the lie and are passionately repeating it - their intent isn't malicious, often the opposite. But, intent does not make something true or false.

He never showed up but all these lawyers did and my lawyer sure was nervous about all of them. It was a few years ago now but it had a horrible impact on my life and another worker busting our backs carrying material for him. It was bad enough we lost our health insurance but for that guy to pull what he did I was all done with construction. Union, non union whatever. That feuding ruined my life. That guy was gay with the steward who was also NO HELP. So anyway now I play video games here on YT part time while I try to forget about such poor leadership turning tail behind all those lawyers. My lawyer said I could tell the story though so I do on occasion. I had to learn to walk again after his duress bs. Hazing you have to live through to believe. I had way too much inflammation destroying my body to fight for my rights much by that point. Don't get me started on all the dam vaccines we needed to do those jobs. I was supposed to get another booster and a work card that said I had all my boosters so I could keep working.
