Actually, he said that the TPS program is legitimate for people who are fleeing tyranny, but the current administration has used it incorrectly to let millions of people in as an excuse who are not fleeing tyranny TPS should be used on a case-by-case basis. I understand him to mean that those who are in here under TPS illegitimately should go back. Those who are here legitimately would be able to stay.

MOST in this comment section needs to take a long, hard look at themselves. Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is a legal entitlement, and blaming your struggles on immigrants is not only unfair but also misguided. Just because you may be feeling stuck or unemployed doesn’t mean that immigrants are the cause of your problems. Remember, our ancestors came to this country, and others have the same right to do so, as long as it's LEGAL. So, instead of lashing out, try to have some reason and understanding instead of resorting to mindless insults. Take a moment to reflect on your own situation instead of directing anger at others.
Take a moment to reflect on this…there are American citizens that need benefits, free housing, free college,free,free,free…they told us they were not dropping off illegals or migrants in towns across the country, they were. Venezuela’s violent death rate is at a 22 year low due to illegal migration to our country. I live in NY, crime by this protected class is through the roof and school resources are being stretched beyond capacity. I find it interesting that Trump married 2 immigrants who got their citizenship after. Vance has inlaws who come to this country and later became citizens.
