Kentucky is in a bit of an odd place when it comes to McConnell. Local Republicans don't dare oppose him. Say what you will about him, but he's extremely good at getting re-elected and smashing opposition. If you challenge him, you risk your political career. The Democrats have offered up miserable sacrifices of candidates against him in past elections as well. I'm increasingly convinced that the Dems recognize how detrimental he is to our country and how useful he is to them, so they give up candidates worse than himself to guarantee he gets re-elected. Sadly, we have to wait until 2026 to see if someone with a spine will run against him.

Bless you Senator Paul! Your amendment is absolutely essential and Congress needs to get their s$!t together and uphold the Constitution!! Yes, all countries could function on the letter and spirit of their Constitutions alone. Would save us a lot of money and make our individual countries prosperous without exploiting others. Period!
