keep at it Liam, practice makes perfect and it will suddenly click. Tough when you've got Steam Train Charlie as teach, but you got to admit, you're in a pretty privileged position. As always, great vid Charlie boi 👍
As someone who used to be on the hod I reqlly admire Charlie's patience with his gang . Alot of foremen I see treat the apprentices like absokute shite then wonder why no apprentices are coming through .I can tell it would be a great gang to be in ,and I hope they soak up all the valuable info 👍
These knuckle heads need to listen. You’re good at keeping your cool and continue to work. Some formans get really short tempered. Good work flow. I mostly lay stone but been doing a lot of brick lately and have been learning from watching your videos Thanks for sharing man
I've always used blakes and block dolly's for this, just find it easier.. But we all have our own ways. Nice to see you spend the time teaching the gang... It'll pay off in time 👍🧱
Charlie, you have now reached the stage where you masonry skills are just excellent. I'd love to see you get into masonry restoration. Your attention to detail would allow you to excel! Mortar color matching , etc That's what my company does. Custom restorations, cracks repaired , total restoration of all masonry work . Pleasure watching your videos!
Keep at it Liam worth sticking at it. I seen plenty a go get frustrated go back to hod or labouring coz they can do it. Then later regret not earning the decent money and potential a trade gives you. I was white slow and kept forgetting wall ties.straight joints. Losing bond, forgetting damp and cavity trays. All sorts of dock ups. It's part of learning.
Think I've been watching too many of these. Woke up in a cold sweat last night convinced I'd missed out a load of wall ties and forgot to clean up those damn snots... Then I remembered I'm not even a bricklayer. 😆 Never laid a brick I'm my life.
My Bruva I've been and smashed the subscription button and I'm now a follower of your gang and please My Bruva u gotta get one of them with a proper prank or sumink especially if you can get one of them with sumink like can you go and ask the yard fella or woman for some level fluid etc u know what im saying Bruva like the video of people asking for indicator fluid in the shop funny stuff but keep it up mate im giving u a big hands up for all your patience and support in teaching the others because it's only easy when you give it a go well not easy I still f up as u do but respect my mate!!
Damn, I'm a white-collar worker but this looks like hard work. I remember my first job out of school I was on site a lot and it can be brutal working in cold.
She's getting there Charlie lad, come on in leaps and bounds brother, good on you Amey your deffo getting there girl, you'll be earning more than the boss man gets soon init Charlie 😳 😏 😂👍🏼
Notice she didn't need telling twice to stick the tea on. Nice one Amy. Charlie you are the bollocks man...busy steaming your own blocks down but still seeing Liam's mistakes as he makes them.
Love the videos have learnt a lot my self just watching and listening there still going to be a give away of the trowels you mentioned in another video ??
how often do you get frustrated with the crew? i know they are green but it can get tough at times. cheers for being a good teacher and showing patience.
Love these videos has something for everyone. Keep Amy asking questions at the end of the day people learning and blokes open to better techniques “pick and dip” is what it’s about. The know it all’s can go elsewhere. Thanks for the posts
Fair play to you Charlie always liked a three and one mate pay hoddie split the rest three ways enjoy your posts ,buy a plot Charlie you never look back .
@@grahamdalzell6933 didn't know they did steel ones ! Interesting bet they weigh a bit more! Yeah when I was looking to buy some everywhere I looked they were aluminium, got mine from BT engineering which use metals4u, which are aluminium.
Yes all the ones you buy now are aluminium but a profile is basically a box section can be anything, stainless steel if you're posh. But yeah i see what you mean the magnet idea wont work.
@@CharlieCollison ow ok got ya mate thought that would be the case enjoying ur stuff this week mate I have been trying that thing u do with snapping the blocks at work works good mate are u doin live this weekend u should come on tonight mate
@@benfeeney3628 not tonight mate I’ll be putting a video up then spending time with me little girl. I’ll most likely be in around 7 on Saturday night 👍🏻
Looks to me that the blocks aren't bonded to the engineering brick below the dpm from floor should only be laped onto the edge of the engineering brick not all the way across nodpc is sandwiched between morter that's on a dry bed mmm
Ahhh, the poor demented soul who chose to be a groundworker making lots of noise in the video. You gotta love us groundworkers :) That 9,000 rpm 2 stroke stihl saw is music to my nearly deaf ears
