Thank you for talking me off of the never ending hamster wheel of life. I need to dismount, stretch my legs and sit back. Let the other ones keep spinning. Hope you’re having a restful weekend.👍🙏😎
It's just as important to sit back and enjoy life as it is to push towards your goal. Balance. Granted you probably need to have more hard days than easy ones. But, on those easy days. Enjoy them. It your body and mind giving you permission to relax. So you can be stronger for the challenges of tomorrow.
Mr. Jax, I'd like to challenge you for the next 30-days. At the end of it, I'd be interested in your feedback. This has worked for me, perhaps it's something you'd consider. 1. STOP. When you walk through the front door at the end of the day, STOP. The outside world is the outside world, and you're no longer part of it. You are in your sanctuary. Take your shoulders out of your ears. 🙂 2. STOP. When your inner voice begins its monologue STOP. Jot it down. You don't have to do anything with it, but it's out of your head. Let it go. If it's important, you can deal with it outside your sanctuary. 3. LOVE. For the next 4-weekends do nothing except selfishly LOVE you. Do only the things that bring you great joy and pleasure. 4. HALT. When you are HUNGRY, ANGRY, LONELY or TIRED do not make any decisions. HALT. 5. BREATHE. Each day take a moment to count each breath. It's hard for me to focus sometimes, so I use spoons. Weird, I know. I take all the spoons out of the drawer -- settle into a comfortable space and breathe -- the spoons help me count. When you're done, you're done. How did it work? Respectfully, Kim
Everyone needs to "take A breath" now and again. Thanks for the ideas on how to do that. Absolutely, your talking is not as fast as before. You sound great.
