You own a very special machine. Take care of it, build it up and release it’s potential. That is a very powerful statement right there. Great videos as always. Move it or lose it 👍

Hi Mark!!.I am just starting with the calisthenics and your videos are a great motivation for me!!.Thanks for spreading this and motivating as many people as i.A warm greeting!!
These videos are the best of their kind on youtube, a relatable, inspirational guy with very real and tangible goals and ideas to aspire to, all you narcissistic show offs take note, this is how its done! 👍
That was ..... WAUW! There are so many videos on RU-vid claiming to be inspirational - I think most of them are ridiculous. Okay, we are all different, so they might work for others. But they don't do anything for me! 🤨 But this video is such an inspiration and I love it. 👍😃
You are by far one of the most active 57 year olds I have ever seen! You're truly an inspiration and example to those of us younger guy's! Keep it up! We can definitely learn from ppl like you!🙏💪👍👏🏋️♂️🔥⚡
Inspirational and amazing. As a 55 year old plagued with arthritis and injury from years of weight training in my youth, you have inspired me to start again with body weight exercises. Thank you
Okay, so I've watched many of your videos over time, and they are certainly impressive and motivating, and I greatly appreciate all your contributions. I was wondering about your diet and what you consume. If you don't already have a video, would you please consider doing one. Thank you.
Thanks for asking that TripintheHead. I'm not a foodie and see food as fuel, but I do understand peoples connection to it because as someone who works in therapy I help people reset and recondition their thought patterns and mindset to eat less and more healthy. As far as my diet is concerned here are some general rules first: 1. I don't eat processed foods except on rare occasions when it is unavoidable 2. I follow pretty much a Mediterranean diet minus the cereals and grains for the most part (tops 1 slice of wholemeal multigrain bread a day and a tortilla wrap). 3. Main protein sources are eggs, chicken, fish, (tuna mainly). I can easily eat 5 -6 eggs a day, but typically 3-4. Eggs are a total meal in themselves, boiled, fried, scrambled, poached, omelettes. I do sometimes eat red meat, but much, much less than I used to (x2 monthly). I drink goats milk daily 0.5 litre as I'm intolerant to cow's milk. Cottage cheese as well. 4. Love avocados and eat at least 1 a day. Eat lots of olives too. 5. Rarely add salt to anything 6. Enjoy dark chocolate daily 70-90% mix, 10 x 5cm size 7. Sip water through the day mostly still filtered and some carbonated with squeezed lime 8. Drink green tea throughout the day 3- 5 cups for polyphenols benefit and its speeds up metabolism. 9. Don't drink coffee more than once a day now as it was raising blood pressure and giving palpitations 10. I Don't drink fizzy or still sugar drinks, colas etc. 11. I Rarely eat pasta or potatoes. Will have rice though basmati, x1 a week 12. I drink very little alcohol as a rule, but I do enjoy the odd beer or G&T :) 13. I love salads and dress these with Extra virgin Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar 14 I eat plenty of steamed vegetables, leeks, courgettes, broccoli, peas etc 15. Bananas and apples as snacks between meals occasionally 16. Nuts as snacks between meals occasionally I could go on an on but here's a sample days meals: Breakfast x3-4 eggs scrambled with tomatoes fried with Olive Oil 1/2 to 1 avocado chopped with Tabasco sauce 5-6 olives Small glass of pure fruit juice, orange or grapefruit Lunch 1 chicken breast chopped up fine and fried in Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar Served in a tortilla wrap with a spread of full fat Mayonnaise 5-6 cherry tomatoes finely chopped 5cm of cucumber finely chopped 1/2 small red onion finely chopped 1/2 avocado finely chopped 3 olives finely chopped Pepper garnish Dinner Turkey mince chilli or An omelette with chopped peppers mushroom and cheese, maybe chicken too. As a rule I don't eat between meals and I don't eat later than 7pm. In bed by 11-12pm up about 6-7am As a rule my only sweet weakness is tomato sauce, Heinz of course, but I' only human hey. I do have cheat days 1 a week where I'll eat a burger, fries or a pizza or have a milkshake/beer but nothing excessive. I'm able to follow this because my mindset is oriented to prioritising that my quality of life and longevity are more important than a short term fix Hope that helps and let me know if there's anything else you want to know Cheers
@@MarkLidsterfitnessgeezer Wow, that was certainly more than I expected in a response. Thank you for taking the time to write all this information, I'm hoping that perhaps you already had this saved and merely had to copy/paste, but if not, thank you again for taking the time. Keep up the good fight!
Thank you Ian Lain. At the moment I'm concentrating on kettlebell challenges and KB sport. They are an amazing tool for improving almost every aspect of your fitness, strength, cardio and power. And incredibly practical for older athletes to use as they are very low impact.
Hi Steve, yes I bought that abou 11 years ago. At the time MTG we’re selling these, mainly to boxing clubs and gyms but managed to source one off eBay. Unfortunately they’ve stopped making them now but I believe there are similar bits of kits available some are even electronic
Hi Daniel, that's a question I commonly get asked. The answer is no, I'm not on TRT or any PEDs. I just train smart,, minimise the stress in my life and prioritise exercise, nutrition, sleep and the correct mindset to maintain my physical performance and mental well being. However I do understand those who use it to improve the quality of their life for medical and psychological reasons
His body looks very healthy and natural not too vascular like those on TRT. I have nothing against TRT. Some day I may go on it, but personally I would like to stay natural as long as I can.
