On the evening of July 25th at 7:50 PM, Typhoon Gaemi made landfall along the coast of Putian City in Fujian Province, with maximum wind speeds near the center reaching 12 levels and bringing heavy rain. Typhoon Gaemi, the third typhoon of the year, formed on July 20th and rapidly intensified into a super typhoon within just four days.
