Step by step:
- Combine 3 cups of flour with 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Mix in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
- Add 1 glass of hot water and stir the ingredients thoroughly.
- Thoroughly knead the dough, starting with a spatula and then using your hands.
- Transfer the dough from the bowl to the table and continue kneading it.
- Cover the dough with cling film and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, remove the cling film and knead the dough again for 1-2 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and divide it into 8-10 portions, adjusting the quantity based on the size of the pan you are using.
- Shape each piece into balls and cover them with a kitchen towel.
- Take a ball of dough and roll it out to fit the size of the pan.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the rolled-out tortilla on it.
- Cook for 60 seconds on each side or until the tortilla achieves the desired level of doneness.
- Brush the cooked tortilla with water, then cover it with cling film and a kitchen towel.
