The 2024 Mazda CX-50 Premium is Just Right for most people with a lot of upgrades for a mid-level trim. The “new” Premium debuted this year and is a combination of the outgoing preferred plus and premium. It features the panoramic moonroof, Bose sound system, and SiriusXM satellite radio.
This was the highest-selling trim for most of the model year. However recent incentive changes for the Select and Preferred have allowed them to edge up in volume. The Premium is still a great vehicle for a good price range.
Currently, the CX 50 has some phenomenal rebates or low APR available which will continue to increase the overall sales volume as the production in Alabama continues to increase.
The Ingot Blue as seen on this vehicle has a unique shade, and is only available of the CX-50.

We bought the Select (base model) and we are more than happy with the standard equipment/amenities it comes with. I hate the dealership experience, but numbers-wise, I think we ended up with a fair deal... we all know the house will always win, no matter how much they schmooze the buyer - hahaha! Oh the damn games dealers play... they're all the same! We financed for 3 years at 0% APR... what does that tell you about what we brought to the table? LOLOLOL!

I test drove one cx50 2024 the seats were painful like on sidewalk. I hope they fixed the issue for 2025 with seats problem

As much as I'd love to make you an offer for this one, 1.) I don't yet know if Mazda will deliver from a dealership in Enterprise, AL to Chicago, IL 2.) More importantly, I'm not fully at the point financially where I would consider myself ready to purchase (not lease) Regardless, a Premium CX-50 in Ingot Blue is the main vehicle I'm looking at

I always enjoy your content! As satisfied Mazda3 and CX-30 owners we wonder how long it will take before the public acknowledges Mazda as a credible premium/luxury brand. It seems that Mazdas are already quite competitive with Acura and Infiniti and are closing in on some Lexus models such as the IS and RX.

It's July and still no CX-50 hybrid announced...that being said I hope a CX-30 hybrid gets announced alongside it with the Corolla Cross hybrid system

Cylinder deactivation stinks but at least no stop/start on the non turbo…

Cylinder deactivation works behind the scenes, that’s why it doesn’t bother me as much.

I bought this car and returned it within 24 hours. The seats are durable cloth but very stiff. I quickly realized this after ten minutes of driving. It almost feels like sitting on a park bench. I know they’re going for a rugged car, but I think most people want a softer seat without aggressive bolstering. The Mazda dealership worked with me and I got a base trim CX-90 which I am very happy with.

I agree! I really like the look of the cx 50 but the seats are so stiff and uncomfortable. Forget about it if you have a bad back like me. Too bad no other option unless you purchase a much more expensive trim. wtf were the designers thinking?
