Never been up that way fishing. Of course, most of all my fishing was New River from Sandstone to Cotton Hill and some down around Kanawha Falls. You should have brought a pole with you. Found you a decent reel on that trip!! Some beautiful country!! You never will catch me walking on the New River Gorge Bridge!!! I broke down one year on the bridge, it was doing bridge day when one side was left open. We were going hunting and the fuse for the fuel pump blew and me and my in-laws had to push my car off the bridge. That is why when I go hunting on bridge day I don't come home till late that evening. LOL I would put my t-pee tent up next to them!! LOL MAN!!! Those are some BIG carp!!! @@JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures I've caught alot of channel cat in the past there . I haven't fished it alot lately. I've never been to bridge day and no plans on walkn across it lol my wife wants to take the tour and walk the catwalk under it I told her I'd wait in the truck lol.
