Just Shapes and Beats updated few days ago. Version- 1.1.6 Berzerk Studio Developers changed also existing levels! Not only Bug Fixes, New Levels and etc. It's cool.
They also added Annihilate (OG mix) in challenge mode and they did nerf Hype from staying bottom right corner in the last phrase. They didn’t nerf The Lunar Whale though... you still can stay near the bottom and get an easy S rank :D
Also, unlocked first phase is no longer doable by standing still, they added 4 pulsing squares in the middleish of the map, and also added a random spray of dots in the nbn beginning
Difficulty changes in the levels 1. Paper Dolls: Normal -> Harder (buffed) 2. Cool Friends: Insane -> Insane (nerfed) 3. Barracuda: Normal -> Normal (nerfed) 4. Unlocked: Easy -> Easy (buffed) 5. Final Boss: Hard -> Hard (buffed) 6. Into the Zone: Insane -> Insane (buffed) 7. Termination Shock: Insane -> Harder (nerfed)
Technically you can get no dash on every song, just go into playlist with both joy con, one as square, one as triangle, in the game play as the triangle player leave the square alone and he'll die, but it'll still give the square player "What dash?"
@Vladimir Putin If there's 2 players on one console one player can just sit there the entire time and just die as long as he did not dash and the other player finishes the track the player who died did not dash
@@truji2582 Yes it does not matter the scenario as long as you did not dash a single time, you can die, be respawned by your teamates, or by checkpoints, and have your teamates finish the level, or you can finish the level, You still did not dash.
There's also a lot of noticeable changes on Termination Shock. For instance, every pillar had the spikes removed as it was unnecessary and makes it difficult at the end part. And the single appearing pillar that was move had animation changes and will move to the right, preventing a cheap spot on the bottom right corner.
He (or she? Idk really) has already recorded a seperate video of [Updated Version] Termination Shock S Rank . That's why he avoided repeating that in this video while simply putting a link at the end.
Tokyo Skies also changed, you used to stay on stop right corner forever without taking any damage, but now you still can stay on top right corner about first 30 secs but then it will damage you when the beat drops. Tokyo Skies is harder to get “free” rank S now... sad :(
Another change I noticed is that if you are playing on keyboard, in the last version, if you were to dash diagonally in any direction, you would end up with the same result as if you dashed separately in each direction (So lets say you dashed diagonally up and right, you would end up in the same location as if you dashed up, and then right). Now in this update it's nerfed (most noticeable in Final Boss)

Only changes I don't like are Paper Doll's (because they failed to anti-cheese properly), and Cool Friend's saw nerf. That central saw was the one thing that made that entire second section hard, and I feel like the speed should have been reduced, but not by that much. You can ignore most of the lasers in the second section and survive in a small area; the saw was there to push you out of it and make you move. Everything else is just making things more fair and giving proper tells, and that's fine.
You forgot an update on Cool Friends! At the beggining of the level and the beggining of the saws, the lasers we're changed. They don't send light in like almost the entire screen. Instead they just do what people think they would do. So yeah!
You forgot sevcon. Back in 1.0 when the circle turns into a planet, It was harder to dodge at first But in 1.1, it got nerfed and reduced difficulty. Now it is much easier to dodge now.
They fixed live the long new fresh where the the final part u can't be in the monster so if u touch him u hurt so u can't hide in him from his attacks anymore
5:33 I'm really glad they added a warning here because that was so annoying multiple times when I was trying to get S rank and kept forgetting he popped up here.

Termination shock had some changes too, there are now spikes on the pillars and you can’t cheese it by going to the bottom right corner, Annihilate was added into challenge mode as well
I noticed a few other changes too Vindicate Me: The "bug" which caused the flipping popsicle sticks in the buildup to almost never spawn seems to have been fixed, they now always spawn Annihilate (Original Mix): The tiny spike balls which appear in the first cage section before the caterpillars appear now come from the bottom too, instead of just the sides. They still haven't fixed the rare fire bug in Close to Me though
