Well Done Micka, as usual. Been there on a caught catfish that ends up floating. Thank you taking the time and effort to revive him. You are da man. Sure wish we had some storms or any rain over here in E TN. Nasty drought. Any runoff to stir up the bait fish and get the catfish active would be awesome. Our cats are all skinny and anchored to the bottom, deepest sections.
@@markybob_bassplaya1462 yeah luckily we have had a little rain here. Hopefully with this hurricane coming it dosen't get severe but just bring in some good rain.
Another top notch video Micka, thank you! Watching that fish float at around 6:30 hit me hard. WELL DONE for picking up and getting him back in the boat and burping him. I've had that happen before myself on a number of occasions, often dragging with big fish, and never lost one yet although a couple of close calls.
@@bobdodd1178 thank you. Yeah my heart just sinks when I have that happen. After getting him back in the boat and everything I set him in the water and was with him for 30 minutes. Then he was good to go.
Nice fish and Great Job!!! My best hole is 72' deep so I carry an 18" piece of 1/2" PVC with the ends beveled and smoothed out to burp them. Very quick and easy.
@@HomesickforAlaska thank you. Yeah that's a great tool to have. I got one also just didn't think of using it on that fish. But still had to in the end.
Happy Fourth of July! The Mississippi river is flooding here in Illinois and not a good time to be out. We’re headed to a small farm pond to spend the weekend. Love what you do and thanks for sharing your knowledge.👍🏼♥️🙏
You really are a great human my guy. Thanks for saving him and for another great video. Happy 4th to you and yours. Also still patiently waiting on the yak vids lol
@@travishanger8604 thank you. Yeah I hate to see and even worse have that happen to a fish in my care but luckily it worked out. The kayak videos will be coming. My first trip is a place that me and Spencer are going to chase giants. So can wait for that.
@@mickaburkhart14 his brushpile videos are some of my absolute favorite to watch. I'm excited for you. Not just from a selfish viewer perspective but I know you'll have a lot of fun
I LOVE IT, Micka ! No one is BORN GOOD, AT ANYTHING. We LEARN to be good at it. REPETITION is the key to learning our mistakes and a successful man made LOTS of mistakes before becoming successful. We are learning from a MASTER. Thank you, for bringing us all along.
