Thanks for the tip. I will definitely try putting the onion in the fridge before slicing or dicing. An old wives tale that didn't work for me was holding a slice of bread between your teeth while chopping onions. My husband walked into the kitchen and started laughing because it looked so ridiculous. It did make a nice absorbable tear pillow though. My advice, don't waste your bread. 😂
Maybe I have an overreaction then because I literally have tears rolling down my face & onto my neck 😭 & the longer I chop, I can’t ever open my eyes ☺️, on some stronger onions. I finally bought an onion chopper. Or I’m a sissy. 😂
