Man, I could watch your "Just Transform It" videos all day. I don't know what it is exactly, but watching you transform something is entertaining as well as relaxing.
I have this and just transformed it for the first time today. Only bought it because it was $40 at Ross. The part at 6:30 is a nightmare to get pegged in.
I didn't even bother with that hehe, the tabs on the copper-colored part further back on his legs seem to hold him together just fine (relatively). I found mine at my local mall, sold by some used figure guys, and he was still a grand total of $147 and change, but he was sold as "never been opened, still in original box with original tape". Whether or not that's true, for a somewhat old figure (amazing that figures from the live-action movies can be considered old now) he is in decent shape. The rubber fingers also don't even seem intended to tab into the spots they should. I cannot for the life of me get him to keep his fingers together. I guess the rubber has softened too much in a particular pose or at a particular angle. The joints are stiff enough to keep the fingers off a display table though. I've been messing with Transformers since Beast Wars and wow, this was easily the most I'd ever sworn trying to transform something hehe. For the price he was, I was terrified of breaking something, and that's the main reason I don't try to force him to hold together better.
That's why my copy was fairly easy to mess with. Even as much as I swore my head off (he's an old figure and despite being sold as "never opened", who knows if that's true, plus he was still fairly expensive, so I was really afraid of breaking something) a figure like Unique Toys Peru Kill was easily harder to transform.
Thanks for the demonstration; I bought my Megatron in September, for my Birthday, but haven't tried to transform him until yesterday, where I was unable to reach past stage 30 on the instruction manual.
Huh. I tend to lose interest in a Transformers toy if the transformation is too finicky, but this one seems pretty awesome in spite of all the fiddling around you had to do. Will need to watch the full review. Thanks for posting this!
@@joshuamorris4565 I got two because my ross didn't have tags on them, so the employee literally made them ELEVEN DOLLARS NINETY NINE CENTS. 11.99...Holy jesus.
@@_s-p-e-c-t-r-a_music_ Ah man, I love when that happens! That sort of thing has happened to me a few times - I've had that happen a few times at Walmart and Target clearance items as well, but you got a certified amazing deal!
Am I the only one that thinks the red transparent plastic should not be there at all seeing as there wasn't red on him in the movie? And while I'm on that what about all the goldish bronze that definitely shouldn't be there either.
Honestly this is sad most people who I've seen have gotten a pretty good figure when my megatrons arms barely stay plugged in its very annoying to the point where I just don't even transform it
Great video thanks dude! I have to say though after purchasing myself and transforming it.... I think this is by far the worst masterpiece so far. The bot mode is fine, but the alt mode is shocking
