Interesting bottle. I have a WT bottle from the 50's that has never been opened and it is inside a ceramic flask inside of an ol 18 inch (ish) Ford car. I do love the history of whiskey bottles! Cheers to ya for bringing up the topic!

My understanding is that whiskey bottles in the US had that federal statement about it being illegal to reuse until 1964. Maybe they didn’t use them all up by the end of the year. So I’d estimate your bottle to be older than 1965-66.

Very interesting John. Good thing about this WT bottle is: it could be use as a throat sanitiser so it means not only change palate but purpose as well 😅
