I love that at 4:10 Larry recognises the beat kill but stresses everyone that Ice's only 10 seconds in and that he has to keep proving himself, and then Ice stops dancing, literally, and Larry yells at him to keep dancing, so he does for a couple seconds and stops again and then Larry has had enough and walks away frustrated. How he cares so much about the other dancer's sake, the dancer he's going up against. That's passion right there.

@M C I've actually seen hundreds of battles involving Boy Mijo, Kefton, Rubix, King Havoc, Poppin John, Tight Eyes, Machine, Jazzy, Bluprint, Skitzo, HiTman, Diablo, Dyko and Zykens (they're one of my favourite duos), Icee, Batalla, Alex the Cage, Maika, Ibuki, Ukay, Niako, The Yudat's, Kuty, Candyman... I can keep going :P I've also been to underground hip hop battles with dancers you'll never hear of like Serge, she started dancing a couple of years ago and is very into contemporary hip hop. But ey, I'm just a Les Twins fan who's never ever been in a battle or seen a battle that's not with Les Twins, right? Anyway, my point still stands, they're extremely passionate about dance, and when they see commitment they respect it. Larry understood there was commitment on Ice's part and recognised it, but only for 10 seconds, and that's what frustrated him. Sure, there was mocking, but there was also Larry pushing Ice to keep dancing. You can literally hear Larry say “Lets go!” and “come on!” and “that’s it?!”. If the twins didn't give two shits about dance they wouldn't be so on top of Shin and Ice and other dancers who aren't committing fully or doing a good job or biting and so on. Edit: I just remembered of this IG clip where you can see post-battle after the twins confronted Demarre and Kid-Wiz in the final, and you can see Larry spending about 5 minutes just speaking to Demarre, I don't know about what, but clearly not mocking him, rather explaining to him how shit went down, and why, and clearing the air. He clearly cares about other dancers. How can you sit there and think that professional dancers who throw workshops all over the world, like Paradox, can't mock but care at the same time? You funny.
@@littlekettle5759 Still doesn't change that you take a part of the battle, dissing and baiting as a way to show "how much they care". Its in the nature of battles, if we do start doing it then any "toxic" behavior in battles and fights are also ways for people to show how much they care. They obviously all care about the dance and there are a lot of dancers that bring each other up rather than dissing/baiting but the part you pointed out certainly doesn't look so but I am sure you can read mind games.
When les twins were dancing through RU-vid these kids watched them every day .. Look at the boy who points to the ear .. This movement I did not see anyone else do 10 years ago .. Today most of the world dancers are dancing on the details of music like them .. These children must They have to respect les twins .. They were inspired to them .. And congratulations to them have become famous 😂
Thank u for your comment. Les Twins are trailblazers and deserving of legend status. Kids around the world have watched, breathed, studied and binge watched them for almost a decade now and are finally catching up to imitate and copy but somehow not credit them properly. They definitely breathed fresh air into the dance industry back in 2010.
This is nice, see how a "crowd" such as this kind of shuns this clearly seen talent from the twins and they let everyone know early on who they were rooting for regardless of the actual skill in the battle, the twins delivered beginning to end you can tell they wanted blood and to make a statement to everyone. They already knew how this crowd was, and they came harder.
Khabib Tiramisu Nurmagomedov should’ve seen this coming man... Laurent’s been miles ahead in versatility and creativity for the last couple years now in their workshops and things of that sort. But they’re two completely diff dancers so comparing is stupid honestly
You cannot say the same thing now. Larry has been the one to make twins win every battles mostly. Just because he wasn't in his prime here doesn't mean you need to downvote his dancing.

tejas sinha I feel you bro lol I’ve been dancing for about 12 years now and it’s part of my life. But I do agree. Some people defend the Twins even when I believe they lost. I really appreciate your response though. Some people who haven’t even been in a dance circle start to run their mouths just cause they follow dancers on social media. Freestyle dancing is one of the most pure art forms out there but much love my dude.

They both had nice rounds, but they have the same issue I see with a lot of the better dancers the twins face. They either have really nice beat kill moments or really nice groove, but never a mixture of both. When they manage to have a good mixture of both it's usually because they're very repetitive. A good example is Larry's battle vs Dykens. Really nice groove and beat kills, but he would stop dancing at times to catch the ball or repeat the same moves and footwork in the same round constantly.
we know damn well that that public is just supporting those other guys .. The *ENVY* game is so real.. those guys can't even do a little bit of what less twins can do
The Twins back battling together again! People mad that the Twins entered and won, some feel like they should step aside and let the up and coming dancers have it....really? Dance battles are just that, BATTLES, Les Twins fought their way to the top and the up and coming dancers have to do the same. Battle their way to the top, take out all the mini- bosses and then take out the MAIN BOSS. Bosses don't step aside. These young dancers need to bring their HARD AAA game to the dance floor and beat the Twins for real, no stepping aside.
5:54 when the result was announced.. the guy behind the opponents who was going to be the opponent in the final (with the bandana on his head, in front of the white cap guy) started crying.. XD also, that girl on the left side with the colored hankerchief on her head was one of the sorest haters throughout the tournament.. :D
Les Twins opponents can do basically anything and they will receive more screaming, clapping and tapping. But whatever, the results speak for themselves...
Its actually sad that Larry wasnt trying at all and still won his rounds. Some may not agree since Laurent was more powerful here but you gotta really sit down and pay attention to what hes doing.

Let twins are amazing dancers with passion in what they do, they have good body control, confidence when they dance even if they loose. Look at how Laurent got up after that dead drop, his posture was so clean and that left hand move he made, look at Larry moves so clean.. Beautiful thing is how they pay attention to each other when one is dancing as if a lion paying attention to it's prey 😀😀, that's something most dancers don't do. Look at how Larry running around as Laurent too run around the stage 😀😀 so funny and beautiful. I love this beautiful twins, full of package.
Yall see how the judges arent juding crowd hype but the actual dancing. These are the same judges that robbed them during the arena quarter finals. Les twins obviously won but they ended up following the crowd hype smh. They let diablo win who did not dance his full round just 20 sec lmao and walked around the stage
Gotta say: Despite not liking Les Twins, I can't help but admire Larry. Out of the 4, he had the best connection to the music and he went in without losing his control.

Most of the times their dances seems more on the quantity or "how many moves you can do in a single beat" rather than just give what the song asks. Of course, I do recognize that their skill and level are right above the world class. It just needs a bit "maturity" if you get what I mean. That's why I complimented Larry's round in here. He was in the zone bruh

the crowd was very basied, shin and ice and veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy skilled and i would love to dance with them, no hate to them when i say this. The crowd was over hyping them and gassing them up with they did a simple move. The twins came with raw energy and nothing in their minds other then the thought of winning. Not saying shin and ice didnt as well, but they just got to caught up in the audience which made them not know what to do when the audience quited down, you can see this here 4:25 nothing extreme but he got lost in the excitement of the move he had done. I'm sorry but the crowd STUNK. Laurents round killed every other round but they reacted much louder at the opponents round. I know the hate is real but Laurents round deserved a lot more noise. I hope it won't be like this at Juste Debout France.
The Twin's rounds were more consistent. Shin & Ice had some great beatkill moments but their dancing as a whole wasn't up to par with Larry & Lau. It's like Ice assumed they'd win after that big blow up so he just gave up trying.
Ice and shin were pretty much doing ALL of Les twins moves and the crowd went crazy... les twins did their original moves and the crowd was silent... the hate is real. 😂 🤦♂️
Thanks for posting this. I'm not sure if most of the crowd hated Les Twins or if they were just rooting for the underdogs and their friends/crew. Nevertheless, I'm proud that Larry and Laurent didn't let it phase them.
lol they are decade long veterans in the game. they've been through plenty of battles when the crowd didn't support them as much, that's when they rely on each other and they always kill it
I love les twins and mostly i like larrys style more but dayum laurent won this one all by himself i would be embarresed if i was shin. shin is so talented but laurent hands down took shins hearth and stamped on it, holy shit what a smack down by laurent in that round

the thing is that when the less twins did a dance to shurt them up they did a dance to come back it's not about the crowd and the one type of people that can beat the less twins is bone breakers they have a unique style of dancing that only double jointed people can do

Les Twins, towers above the competition in height, originality, popularity, everything. If anything the competition should have lost points especially in originality every move they did just about was les twins. And even though they used all of les twins moves they still lost. 💜 Les twins 💯
Think people are just tired of the twins, watched Many of there battles and you begin to see the style of dance, its refreshing to see upcoming dancers with there take on the art of dance !
Moi je vous le dis, que ce soit danceurs, juges ou bien public, la plupart petent le seum contre les twins depuis longtemps et n'attendent qu'une chose c'est de les voir perdre. Le problème avec les twins c'est qu'ils ont été médiatisés a travers le monde entier et depuis très longtemps, ce qui fait que tout le monde a déjà vu leurs mouvements 350 fois. Ces mouvements la, aussi difficiles qu'ils soient sont vus et revus et donc moins spectaculaires au fur et mesure du temps pour la plupart des gens (ce qui est normal) et donc moins percutant dans les yeux des juges. On peut le voir a travers le monde entier que les gens sont jaloux de leur réussite et agacés par l'assurance et possiblement l'arrogance qu'ils dégagent. C'est une hypocrisie sans nom car ces gens qui ne font pas de bruit pendant leurs battle ou ces juges qui ne votent pas pour eux, ont été les premiers a les suivre durant toute leur carrière et leurs parcours professionnel. Larry et Laurent n'ont plus rien a prouver à personne, ils ont gagnés un nombre de battle que personne n'arrivera jamais a égaler, ce sont le danseurs les plus complet au monde même a leur âge et tout ces mecs la sont juste frustrés de se faire fumer en battle par des mecs de 30 ans qui sont finalement leurs darons spirituels. Mes amis la jalousie est un vilain défaut.

Bon battle bonne échange de par et d'autre . Un régal aux yeux . C'est dommage cependant que les twins ont pris très peut de risque ce qui aurait pu amener un jugement assez sévère .Mais le style et la façon de danser de nos franchies restent unique et fait une différence tout de même . Aller chercher une qualification ailleurs doit amener nos danseur de FRANCE à mieux préparer leur juste debout qui reste une grande compétition ou les places sont de plus en plus chère . big up au TWINS !
