super.sam_the_man yeah they did. I’m a bit disappointed on how weak they portrayed Wonder Woman, Flash, and Aquaman. They are such powerful beings and have so much potential that it was a bit sad. Overall, I kinda like the movie though. Hopefully in the future, they will hire a better director.

Apparently you conveniently forgot that when Superman was resurrected, he had his powers intact, and he beat the justice league easier than Steppenwolf ever did, and that was before he even had the black suit. So, the black suit is entirely pointless. Even your example of Superman flying into space doesn't change the fact that the black suit is entirely pointless because again, he didn't need the black suit to absorb solar energy since he already had enough before even wearing the black suit. Not to mention that in BvS, Superman was actually in worse shape in space, yet he was able to recover just fine with the red and blue suit. So, next time, get your facts straight.

@@StareachValcin You know nothing of source material. Superman in the comics wore the black suit, also know as the Solar Suit, or Regeneration/Recovery Suit. Superman wore the black suit in "Reign of Superman" after being killed by Doomsday in "The Death of Superman" to recover from his supposed death. Ring any bells? This is where Snyder got his inspiration for the black suit in his movie. Furthermore, Superman taking on the Justice League and besting them is expected since that is what the scene was trying to convey in some ways (to show just how greater Clark is in terms of raw power). In the comics Steppenwolf usually outclasses the other Leaguers except Superman. They also had problems besting in the movie until Superman arrived. Also, in BvS Superman didn't actually die genius. He was knocked unconscious and extremely weakened. So, of course given enough time he would recover back to his original state without any kind of external aid like the black suit

I agree, I love the personality that Henry Cavill is aloud to show as Superman in this version, and his interactions with the rest of the League are awesome. The one take away I love about this version is just Henry Cavill.

Actually the snyder cut had more plot holes and the whedon version tied some plot developments better, I'm dead serious, rewatch both movies back to back, there's so many dumb decisions in the plot of the snyder cut like barry getting shot while running at light speed or the auto defense system plot device

@@professorbeast814 really?! In ZSJL, he put up a decent fight against Steppenwolf all by himself when he came for the Mother Box. He also launched Steppenwolf in the air when he struck him with his trident and then impaled him in the back, lifting him up like it was nothing. He did a lot more damage to Steppenwolf in ZSJL compared to Josstice League where he actually was a punching bag.

@@thebirdmanandroostershow4791 That's not the point at all Zimmer was the first guy post Williams that actually made a decent (if not better) track for a superman, it was time to change. Putting the old theme in this scene just shows how much of a Frankestein this movie really is, no sense of identity or respect to the previous material. Both Superman and Batman had their themes for the DCEU and they changed to the old one for forced nostalgia. It don't match these new movies. Thankfully the Snydercut completely removed these old themes.

I'm not sure if that's how buildings work. Did Superman go 14 feet into the ground and pick up the foundation. Apartments don't just sit on-top of the ground. What about about water lines and electrical lines? I guess he just broke those too, while keeping the house intact.

@pratyush mitra That's a good point. I hadn't even thought about that. To pick up something that heavy, with the object doing the lifting having such a small surface area, Superman would probably go through the floor before he even came close to lifting the building off the ground.

@shreyan kanvinde I can't help it. Stuff like that breaks the illusion for me. I know that other impossible things happen in the movie (ie. a person flying, or batman saying sorry) but I already accept this going into the movie. Seeing the house like that makes me stop talking the movie seriously. I'm a 40 year old virgin/man-child so I take the Justice League very seriously.

Also, if Superman and Flash are traveling faster than the speed of sound, then they wouldn't be able to hear each other speak because the soundwaves coming out of their mouths would be left behind and when Flash pushed that truck with that initial velocity, because of inertia, those kids would have hit the tailgate of that truck so hard, it would have killed them.

@@jamesjohnson1050 you make some interesting points. I hadn't thought of either of those. Especially the children in the back of the truck able to casually experience going the speed of sound. One question though, if talking while going at that speed was futile, due to travelling faster than the sound leaving the person's face hole, does this effect jet fighter pilots, who often travel at those speeds yet still are able to speak and produce sound. What if the sound produced is relative to one's position. The person beside the pilot can still hear him but a stationary person wouldn't be able to.

@@RamonAzzi Snyder Cut's Cyborg and Flash are waaaay better than Whedon's ones, specially Cyborg, he's the best character of the movie. Batman, WW and Aquaman are almost the same thing - they just are there, no development, in both versions. Whedon's Superman looks like a Superman writed by someone that at least like and understand Superman (not his dark versions).

@@yd5540 In a movie based on a world similar to ours, it's already a stretch to believe, that a man hailing from another planet is able to fly and break free of Earth's gravity without the use of any machinery and also has an unreal amount of strength 💪 But to believe that Supes is able to lift a building without the building falling apart... Unless Supes had the time to gather materials to build some sort of structure to put underneath the building and also disconnect all plumbing and so forth, I find that scene to be beyond belief.
