Actually this is a time where I CAN excuse Hal being weak. All of his power comes from his will and he did just learn that his city and family were lost forever which must have done a lot to his will
@@Deathmare235 true, he knows Superman is wrong, he also has the will to see a fight with him through to the end The problem is, he lost his family and his home, what else is there left to fight for?
I hate how they always make Green Lantern weak. Like wtf bro. Its like he's always irrelevant. He is prob one of the most powerful characters amongst the pioneers of the JL
Batman is considered one of the best fighters in DC. I believe if I recall he also in this part has the supersoldier pill/give Kryptonian physicality. With that on top of his own skills. Aquaman didn't have much of a chance on land.
@Eric Wicker if Batman And Aquaman Just Started Fighting Batman Wouldn’t Have the Durability Nor the Gadgets To face Him ATM, That’s Why Batman When he has Prep Has Such a strategical Advantage Against Foe’s He Normally Won’t beat Bruce Would See Weaknesses And Could Take Advantage,But Other Then That He can’t Damage Aquaman Even if He Tries To
Yeah but Sinestro manipulated him. Hal felt guilty about it and turned into a red lantern because how much he hates himself for what he's done. Gets his finger cut off to get rid of the red ring. Gets a green ring. And becomes a hero again.
Hate seeing Green lantern and Flash being portrayed like that. I acknowledge the fact that it might have been necessary for the script but seriously? Hal, being the strongest of the Corps breaks his dominant hand in a fist fight? And Barry can’t even dodge an elbow from Diana?
@@cactusmalone he is still op. In the early comics Superman was pretty much dying if he was close to kryptonite, nowdays he can be stab by a kryptonite knife and keep fighting like anything
The only problem with Green Lantern imagining Kryptonite, apart from visualising the rock, he would also need to understand the radiation frequency to create it. The only downside is that it would make a Green Lantern vulnerable being hit by heat vision or Superman blowing him away enough to get away from the effects of it.
@@apeture_explorer4810 People can survive that with the right medical attention soon after But yeah, it is Aquaman to be fair, he's far superior to a regular human, worse case scenario he can't walk for a week
@@ordinarylittlebastard3248 it's all for the plot, for example when WW hit flash with her elbow as slow as she could, and Flash didn't see that coming like wtf, you don't need super-senses to react to that, it was slow af
@@blue1133 It's not like Wonder Woman is slow. If you go by the comics she's also REALLY fast. Even fast enough to beat Professor Zoom (which she also beat in this game)
Green Lantern in comics: i have more willpower than willpower itself. I could recreate and destroy the Universe. I can solo Martian Manhunter, Kyle Rayner, Wally West, Green Arrow, and Hawkman at the same time. My constructs can tank supernovas and my speed is way faster than light. Green Lantern in mainstream media: uh hey guys i can make some holograms, pretty cool right? Oh but they can't really take much damage.
So glad that Hal got his head on right, went through that training and hardened himself. It's so much different than how he surrendered his ring to the good Superman in the first game...he's fighting back against Superman of all people and for the sake of what's right.
Even after Hal lost his love interest and family, and his city. He still fights against his anger and stands against Superman. They are essentially in the same boat, but Hal manages to keep his soul whereas Clark crumbles like a deck of cards at the first gust of wind.
I forgot where but I’ve heard Batman say you’ll never aim straight again and destroys the guys arm. So I’m guessing that his intention when he physically traumatizes people
@@GOldenPROdigy115 plus if he wanted *but he does not* he can go back in time like 2 seconds in the past and help himself pretty much making infinite duplicates of himself, plus he can go back in time and kill you as a baby sooo, and like the other guys said if i punched you yes it would hurt, now if i punched you moving at the speed of sound you would be dead flash is very op, but if they made him like that in games it would be too easy
The other comment comes close but not quite. For NRS when developing their fighting games they have set character "rigs" of a certain body size (small/medium/large male, same for female) that are applied to several characters for the purpose of designing moves and hitboxes. In practice this means that you'll see Batman and Superman, who both would be medium male characters, have very similar body shapes. Then you have Atrocitus and Swamp Thing, which would be larger males, who use a different rig but are still close in size. This allows NRS to avoid having to design for a body rig for each individual character that would otherwise be very close to each other.
How tf is Superman able to break through Green Lantern's stuff? Isn't it Will that powers it? If so,, then KNOW you can hold Superman; don't have a doubt that you can't.
Actually interestingly this is a moment where I can excuse that. Hal did just learn that his entire life was destroyed so even tho he didn’t switch to supes side again that definitely did SOMETHING to his will
@@jonathangaming1163 wonder woman is with superman. Batman needs the right equipment to be a threat to anyone. Yes, Kara can fight supes, but doesn't want to because she loves him.
@Learn German with Steffi He used to be able to in the comics waaay back but eventually the writers wised up and realized that was kinda broken and the Green Lanterns lost that ability
@@jahbabyeon nothing broken about a weapon that can literally create artificial sun's and black holes being used to make kryptonite radiation. The reality is that Supes can't have anyone that gets in the way of his being OP. It's lazy writing.
@@derek96720 ...but a magical ring that creates anything, including elements that the wearer has no real understanding of, isn't lazy writing? C'mon. Why stop at Kryptonite then? Why not lagomorphite, a fictional material I just made up that turns Kryptonians into bunnies?
@@willchurch8376 I mean, and don't get me wrong when i say this but: Here's the thing. the wearer does have real understanding of it through the green lantern training. whenever the power rings seek their wearers they're taken back to oa and put through training that is so difficult that alot of them are likely to fail. they don't just want anyone to be able to wield the most deadly weapon in the universe and not actually know how to use it
It’s sort of funny in a way that for everything, Superman still refused to kill his once friends/allies. Like he could’ve taken Hal’s head clean off, but only wanted to incapacitate him. He didn’t even do a one KO punch because of restraint.
@@camerongreene3357 That's what I hate about him 😂 Like, it can be easy to beat some characters because of some obvious weaknesses (kryptonite for example) or because of their ego. But, I mean, come on, some other characters are a bit more complicated. Like, how would defeat the Specter? Raven? Enchantress? There are some of the most powerful DC characters
Amazing how Lantern is one of the few who could confront and defeat Superman He has always been one of my favorites imagine Shazam,Green Lantern and Supergirl vs Superman I would love to see this fight too bad that Shazam is dead after the events of the first game and Arrow is also dead in this future timeline that Superman killed him as well as captain atom 😢😔 like and Bye!
Now that I think about it, Green Lantern should’ve won against Superman. His ring can “make kryptonite”. Basically it’s a rock that he can make that emits krypotnite radiation.
I always feel like when Green Lantern goes up against Superman in any media...it's a lost cause. Like, he doesn't ever seem to win and ends up just delaying Supes lol
The entire injustice lore is basically just joker getting an actual win at the cost of his own death but also proving his point of a "one very bad day"
