Gotta love how they've gotten so used to alternate timelines, dimension jumping, and such, that they casually mention it, like it's a normal occurance.
Well, they should have been to antimatter Earth already, where all heroes' counterparts are villains, and Lex Luthor is both the leader and last survivor of Justice League. That is even much worse than Injustice Earth.
Yellow Lantern: Someone called me? Green Lantern: You’re Sinestro Corps?! Yellow Lantern: Sinestro’s right. Fear is well dap than Willpower. Green Lantern: So, you’ve ditched green and went yellow. The color of cowardice. Yellow Lantern: I’m still about Order. Like the Guardians. Green Lantern: I’m sure they’re proud of you. Yellow Lantern: Sanctimony is easier than… Green Lantern: Save it. Time to kick my ass. Me: That last part is my favorite. 😂
Green Lantern: *kicks the shit out of Sinestro and alternate Yellow Lantern version of himself without breaking a sweat* also Green Lantern: *fucking dips as soon as he hears a police siren*
In case you're wondering what happened to the other Green lanterns in this universe, In the Comics Jess and Simon don't seem to exist or have gotten rings at all. (The first comic was released a year before Jess was created, but not Simon). Kyle was literally torn apart by Yellow Lanterns on his way home, John helped Superman (Without fully knowing what he had done) but got stabbed by Sinestro, who used this to get Hal to kill Guy (Who was being the voice of reason. They were that desperate) by ripping his ring arm off and letting him fall to the ground from about... (*Tries and fails to do the math*) a long way up. Don't worry, Guy later reappeared as a manifestation of Hal's guilt after Superman was defeated.
Ch'p (The squirrel) gets headshotted by Sinestro, after downing Supes. Ganthet and Mogo got pushed into the sun, by a Yellow Superman. Kilowog and 200 of the best lanterns got locked up, after being encircled by the JL and the Sinestro Corps, and ended up getting sniped by Sinestro before he could get his ring back during Plastic Man's jailbreak to get his son.
@@JohnDoe-ks2su The problem with that film was that it stuffed too much for it to be coherent; they introduced Parallax too early, the dialogue is wonky and the exposition was boring
@@blahmeh6093 yes , I know we all agree it was terrible. But as I said, the one thing they got right was the casting. But that's probably the only thing they DID get right
Does that Yellow ring actually affect its user’s Mind. I mean I’ve seen that Fear is a Powerful Weapon, and it’s not an inherently evil trait, so if the ring doesn’t warp its user’s mind, I could see it being a strong weapon.
Yeah, Parallax is the being of fear, and whoever wields the yellow ring is affected by him. It's kind of like the Sith vs Jedi in star wars, willpower is being able to control your emotions and fear is giving in to your emotions, therefore losing control.
It has been stated that every ring channeling the Emotional Spectrum can affect the user, even the Green one. It depends on the color and on the nature of its wearer. In you're not very knowledgeable about the Lantern Corps and how they work, here's a quick summary. Think of it as a straight line: at the center lies Green Willpower, which is the most balanced emotion. On its left there are Blue Hope, Indigo Compassion and Violet Love; on its right you have Yellow Fear, Orange Avarice and Red Rage. The further down the line you go (both ways) the more the emotion affects the user, no matter if it's a "good" or "bad" emotion. So yes, the Yellow ring can generally affect its wearer but not that much that they lose control of their actions. And yes, it can be used as a force for good but can also "corrupt" you if you're weak or if you let it. There have been good and honorable lanterns among the Yellows, even among the Oranges and the Reds. And being a Green Lantern doesn't automatically mean you're a good person, there have been bad apples here and there (and also morally grey people). After all Sinestro himself began as one of them and was regarded as the best, before his downfall and his rise as their worst enemy.
Fear may not be evil, but his fear is increasingly more powerful since he is very afraid of superman and what will happen to him if he falls out of line. I like to think he gets stronger after shazam died since he saw what Superman is willing to do to a kid.
@@ItAintMeFool Not really because if a lantern has different intentions, they will then be persuaded to join a new core ring for what they believe in atm.
@@granalmirantethrawn2972 they can’t really do much except for basic flight abilities and like shields i think unless they’re also in the presence of a green lantern ring
In injustice year 2 you can see how yellow lantern hal made the biggest mistake of his life by trusting sinestro . Year 2's main premise was corruption and we saw how even the best of us through naiveness, power and manipulation can become corrupted.
Wait a minute...Deathstroke is voiced by JG Hertzler, who played Martok in Star Trek DS9, who ALSO lost an eye in that show....this is heavy! This is a great nod to his Martok character!
My man Hal is known to be more conservative; also he called cyborg a thug and everyone knows that calling a black man a thug is sus, even if he really did become a bit of a shithead
