Honest reaction and I agree, the second half of the album easily outshines the first half! There are a few from the 1st half that I do really like but honestly he's spectacular on the end half of the album.

I totally agree. This album could at its maximum (at least to me) if he had only released: "all around me"... {to open the album} "intentions" "forever" "running over" "get me" (my fav) ❤️ "e.t.a" "changes" "confirmation" "at least for now" ... {to close the album} Less is always better. he tried overdoing it by putting out all these songs. Big big disappointment with Travis song

I mean they seem to think that it’s impossible that anyone could like the first part of the album. They find it insane that people like yummy. I see where they’re are coming from but the numbers do this album will determine if it’s good or not but even then Billie eilish album goes platinum but I don’t like her music it’s not my cup of tea that’s my opinion. I guess that’s the beauty of music is people hear and relate to it differently than others

@@rauljazo9960 Numbers always need context. Yummy was his first solo release and the high note he left off being THE teen heartthrob of his generation, it was going to get a lot of play regardless. But the conversation about it was that it wasnt great and it was a let down. Then Justin went on to heavily heavily promote it, trying to get it to be popular on Tiktok, trying to get it to pop on RU-vid, not to mention the Instagram posts about VPNs, babies and asking fans to stream it while they sleep. If at the end of the day people still congratulate you on the numbers, does it mean people enjoyed the music?

This album is a vibe to me. There is literally no skips for me. Everything doesn't have to be a hit. I would much rather an artist put out a cohesive album like this one than an album that's all over the place. It's clear that he took his time with this and in a way made this entire album a love letter to his wife. I love the growth. Good job JB.

I grew up loving and being a huge fan of JB still love him, but I agreed with everything said in this video! You guys are the best and I literally thought the same thing as you guys, I was expecting so much from this album and honestly just didn’t deliver. The second half which is exactly like you guys said was the best part. He’s so talented and can deliver sooo much more!

to me the album was like a happy and healthy version of journals so im really satisfied. like every song was beautiful and amazing. also even yummy and intentions didn't hit that bad once you hear the album BUT yeah those two are not in the same level of the bsides. for me it was a really good album, its like he or his label idk low the expectation on purpose with the singles.

I thought the album was 🔥🔥 and it’s a different vibe than purpose. The first half is for the people who like to jam and bop. Goodness gracious before u guys talk shit get to know where he is coming from then form an opinion. Also just cause you guys don’t fuck with some of the songs doesn’t mean everyone else doesn’t either. At the end of the day the numbers will determine the success of the album but I’m fucking glad Justin is happy though and at the end of the day that’s all that matters.

@@TheeDevilWearsPrada I totally agree! I think some of the songs are catchy - yummy, habitual, E.T.A., and intentions - but I just don't see listening to them over and over. He's happy now and his music is a reflection of his feelings, so it's understandable. Perhaps after a few more listens, I will be more inclined to favor it a bit more, and maybe even listen to the deeper meanings of the songs. For now, though, for me personally, it's mediocre. I love that we all have varied tastes! I mean, I liked Man of the Woods when a lot hated it, so idk... :)

After a few listens the first track isn’t bad nor is available but honestly agree. I love Justin with all my heart but putting intentions and yummy in the album was a horrible decision. Horrible. There were others songs he’s releasing on the 6th album that he gave us snippets of in his new docu series that were SOOO much better. Idk wtf he was thinking.

Lmaoo I never wanna watch y’all react to Justin again this broke my heart I thought y’all would love it y’all hated some of the good ones 😂 I’m just happy justin is happy and getting back to good health and y’all gave it a chance. I think what made it a great album was that we (the fans) were all expecting something completely different and got songs with really good production and Justin showed that he can still sing after being really messed up for so long.

This album was fire! The whole album R& B swag sound is exuberating.. love love love to finally hear a whole album of slow jams.. What I love the most is the album is about his wife. If my man wants me to be in the mood this is definitely the album. I believe it's his best work... I can't go throughout the day without listening to it from morning to night... Love the flow...

I agree that the second half of the album was the best (i also think it’s the direction of sound he prefers) but really there are great tracks in the first half as well, some of them just may be growers. Habitual is really beautiful when you listen to the lyrics and his voice. Come around me is catchy AF. Available is sooooo smooth and his vocals are fine AF. And i love forever, i just feel like its a power collab. I love how all their voices are so different but they still work so well together.

It all a tactic.... yummy and intentions are radio songs. Especially yummy. He prompted it like CRAZY. He wanted it #1. It’s a RADIO song and it worked because when you walk into a store, it’s what is playing. And then he dropped this album. He has not really promoted it. And it went #1 in the first hour. Y’all all just want pop Justin and clearly he didn’t wanna give us a pop album right now so I don’t even know why we’re comparing purpose to this album. If anything we should be comparing it to journals and this album is better than journals. His voice is matured and the talent is there.

I completely agree with you about Yummy, but I believe this album is nothing short of incredible. Get rid of Yummy, Second Emotion, and Take it Out on me and it is his best album ever. Vocally he has never sounded better... Excited for more music to come from him.

I dig that instead of sayin this sucks and this sounds bad, u guys actually use critisism the right way, u acknowledge that justin can do better, and that the label controls most of what he releases, which is true and we all know it. otherwise why They made him remove whats poppin remix for christ sake.
