Agreed. Even though I'm a Canadian and obvious Degrasse fan ...and like most Track enthusiasts Love what Bolt has done for the Sport and have watched in awe at his accomplishments, I absolutely HATE it when fans either Boo Gatlin, or discredit his oqn accomplishments. Do fans that Boo Gatlin after he beats Bolt ....not realize that they're actually disrespecting Bolt by Booing the guy that just edged him out. Idk, just wish people didn't act that way.... It's Cringy af listening to them Boo the guy after he does something VERY few have ever done, beat the GOAT.
Mukhtaar Ashraf UB said you can't win every race, and this is exactly what he meant. I hope he's strong and peaks for the Olympics in Brazil. He's still the greatest sprinter I've ever seen.
It's hard to believe when people say bolt didn't try. You know how much training goes into these races. Why would bolt work his ass off every single day only not to try in a major race. And Olympics is every 4 years he's not only going to try every four years
bolt told the host he wasn't fit but then they insisted he came just to make the show a great experience for the audience. and he told them he was not going to run his best as he wasn't feeling the best. if you watch the celebration after Gatlin worn it was somehow weird cause its not what we are used to; we are used to the showman himself. thats why the clip is even shot
Just got to say it….Gatlin served his ban and met all the requirements. I totally understood the first few years of crowd harassment but his ban spanned the most important age and time of his career and he still became a legend. By the London Olympics I was just sick of the British still living on their hatred for Gatlin. They knew he was the only legitimate threat to their beloved Bolt. Every year listening to the British announcers rehashing Gatlin’s sins from 10 years earlier got so old for me, I was actually cheering for him to win. Bolt was amazing and I doubt they’ll be another take the world by storm in track like he did. But I give much respect to Justin for how good he was for as long as he was…..imagine what he heard say in and out and to fight all those years hearing it beating back those demons, having to play by even more strict rules, and sprinting at an elite level until he retired. Ya dang right I respect him for at least those things. Liked the upload
Well said I too got sick of it and rooted for Gatlin. Athletics is a dirty sport it only takes for you to be with the wrong camp or coach and drink something or rub your legs with something and just like that you're serving a ban. Is not the fall that matters here is how Justin came back even better and gave us something to talk about against Bolt.
Gatlin battling Bolt in a footrace. Those names sound like something out of a movie, of course they are unbelievable sprinters, with those names, how could they not? Perfect.
Usain bolt will not truly be beaten until his world record is broken by someone else. Until then he remains the worlds fastest man regardless of how slow he becomes.
@@sinsin1697 no is saying that bolt is greatest legend of the game but he can't always win but regardless of the result of one game his records can't be beaten by justin
@@funtoons2334 in all truth please don't be offended by this but you sound like a Jamaican I guarantee you're from Jamaica and you speaking from a fan stand point of view I understand that but this is a fact..Usain bolt can't win every race that's crazy and if that was the case he would have won that last race if that was the case he wouldn't have never faked that injury it's a fact.. Justin gatlin and Christian Coleman beat them it's just that simple. Damn I really never knew Jamaicans wear this delusional in this is the Truth...
In case you were all wondering this race was the towards the beginning of his actual racing season. This race wasn't as important as some others. Gatlin may have won but this is like saying you won you're local meet and comparing it to what might go down at a state meet.
***** Of course I have no proof. His performance for me are evidence. All athlets in the greatest final ever in Seul 88 was doped. Do you really think a natty Bolt can run 0.2 second faster than a doped Ben Johnson? Bolt is the best, but on juice like all the other "elite" sprinters. Bolt is business. Billion dollars. They left him dope exactly how they left Lance Armstrong before life ban. I mean after 1.. 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7 consecutive winning Tour De France, wasnt a supertested guy at that time? Though... he was dope for years.
I understand what your trying to say, but a few of the Jamaican athletes you listed were caught with banned substances. Blake, Veronica Cambell, and Asafa have all tested positive for banned substances before.
3:01 , he clearly lunged.. And when I say "gave it his all", I mean all he's got at the moment. He will get better throughout the season, and at Moscow he will run at least a 9.7 because he will peak.
@@chuckie102883 You miss read the persons words. He’s talking about his past medals of getting gold so he questioned why people would be sad after just a loss. Also at the time he had an injury before hand and was recovering so he didn’t perform at his best.
Cameron Burrell, the kid who won the Texas state 4A 100m title this year and who leads the HS list with a 10.07w, is the son of former 100m WR holder Leroy Burrell. Interestingly, Cameron won the adidas Dream 100 against the nation's best high school sprinters on the same track where his dad set the then-world record of 9,91 back in 1991. Cameron's dad AND mom both won relay gold medals in the sprint relays at the '92 Olympics.
This is what I don't get... Galtin never slowed up when Usain was close to him in this race but does it 2 years later where he should have won also. What gives?
esta recuperando la confianza eso le hará madurar para mirar donde fallo y porque fallo, teniendo en cuenta su recuperación de la lesión y su proyección con miras en las próximas carreras
In relation to your provided list, do allow me to clarify a few points: Ben Johnson (Canada), Dwain Chambers (UK), Marvin Anderson (tested positive for stimulant 4-Methyl-2-hexanamine, not deemed a drug offence, in regards to World Anti-Doping Agency's banned list, nonetheless acquired discplinary, further handed via JADCO, including Yohan Blake), Venolyn Clarke (Canada),Linford Christie (UK), Angella Taylor-Issajenko (Canada), Debbie Dunn (USA)...continue...
Scott Walker Gatlin has run faster than Bolt this year so Bolt is going to have to be firing on all cylinders if he wants to beat Gatlin at Beijing. I predict Gatlin wins this year but not in Rio.
@@dionjyoung5987 No he hasn't, taken performance enhancing drugs is illegal in Athletics only athletes who know they can't set any records take them. Usain is clean and as he's the fastest runner he's been tested loads but never has he shown drug taking signs unlike Gatlin who has twice even though first time he was banned for 1 year he still did it again
I'm Haitian & Jamaican decent born to a mother who's from Haiti an a father from Jamaica but born in New Orleans, LA of da USA I in support of blots & Gatlin.
Good confidence builder for Gatlin, beating the Olympic champ and record holder. I don't read much else in the win, however for 3 reasons. 1.Usain was also beaten in the Ja trials by Blake in both the 100 & 200m races and came back to win both races in London, setting a new Olympic record in the 100m. 2.This is his very first race after an injury and he probably wasn't going flat out in all phases, like he would in an Olympic final, say. 3. Gatlin yet to go sub 7s, which Usain has done..lots
+Llama Dont hate him cuz he has the Will and determination not to give up after a four yr setback. I'm guessing you would have quick huh. Thats why he's where he's now and you are where you at in live now
...., Lance Spence (please provide reference source), Merlene Ottey (cleared via both JADCO and Court of Arbitration for Sport), Inger Miller (USA), Jerome Young (USA), Trevor Graham (USA)...continue (iii)...
Vicaut les bouffent sur les 50 premiers mètres, si Gatlin et Bolt réussissaient à faire des départs canons, sa serait des monstres, car ils démarrent souvent mal
Yall ain't seen nothing yet. Bolt is just the beginning. We have athletes here in Jamaican highschools now running faster times than Bolt when he was in high school. Asafa Powell was a taste now Bolt and trust me there is going to be more. Sprinting is a way of life in here in Jamaica, it's part of our culture. From when we are kids to adult. The only thing that is holding us back is our fkd up economy and lack of sponsors. Local businesses never sponsored Bolt but Puma saw something in him based on his speed In high school and the annual Boys & Girls Championship held here in Jamaica where high-schools compete against each other... Anyway just look out for more from Jamaica after Bolt...
@@Haraka111 I don’t know who wrote this, but it wasn’t me. I do read comments, but hardly ever reply, and most of all, I don’t use cursing when I talk, or when I write.
@@jack120147 but thank you read my comment wrong... I was referring to the person who wrote the original comment.. saying that they only care about the time.... Like Usain bolt train like he did got on the airplane flew away from home lived in a strange hotel to lose.... I was saying that the person who wrote the original comment was a zealot not you... And those type of people are like talking to a fuckkkkking brick wall... I wasn't talking about you
The announcers said that bolt came back from an injury so that was Justin gatlin advantage he beat bolt due to the fact that bolt had a injury or was returning from one
***** Championship finals aren't a way in finding his average time, they're a way in finding out what his average championship final time is. And anyway, his last 3 championship finals weren't under 9.70, since he got 9.77 in Moscow.
Bolt did come back from an injury, and I love how Gatlin uses his head to win. Who can really beat Bolt ? and when I say that, im referring to his record from last year. This was just a race to test Bolts injury..lol..Good race though
Id have to say i agree with the people that say this isnt a big deal for Usain. For a man who runs under 9.7 regularly, finishing with a 9.94 is a walk in the park for him. and im sure the rest of the runners in the field recognize that.
Do research moron, he was banned for four years and did not compete in 08 Olympics, this was his comeback when was clean! He beat him fair! Deal with it!
+emycin bruce he doesnt do drugs since he is the fastest man they should of tested him just to make sure he wasnt cheating just to be the fastest man plus the dude got extremely long legs so there is no way he is druging himself
for a 32yr old Muhammad Ali to beat a prime George Foreman does he have to be juicing? cmon' Bolt got beat plain n simple doesn't mean he's still not the best...but give credit where credit is due
He was not drug free end of. Why can't he do it again?!!! Didn't they say substance was found in his urine?? If Blot gets beaten fair and square no problem but not by a drug cheat Oooh Noooo mate. That's not fair to all the athletes in that race even . Come on😵
what's funny is highschool athletes in Texas ran 10.06, 10.2 and 10.22 in the texas championships 2 of which were juniors and one senior in HIGHSCHOOL. every generation gets faster and more athletic over time
If someone with ADHD take Adderall, there's no competitive advantage. The only advantage is gained from people who don't have ADHD. In other words, they hurt the people who need it to catch the people who don't. It's lazy
REALLY ? IS THAT WHY ALOT OF NFL PLAYERS WERE ON ADDERALL ? its not performance enhancing ? what about testosterone ? got rubbed in his ass by having a massage ?
Does not mean shit either drugs or not. Gatlin has determination. And yesterday Ilyin broke another world record in weightlifting. He smashed it. And i feel Gatlin will improve more and more cause he wants to be fastest man in the world.
THIS just makes me ask questions, Bolt had the best start out of the entire field, as a tall man that is astonishing, he then gets beaten in the last part of the race which is where he is usually infinitely stronger. Is he acting or is his injury that bad.I think he should become an indoor 60m specialist at this rate,my initial gut feel was he was messing around between 60m and 90m but then got worried too late.We just dont know
Very true. Anyone who seriously believes that Bolt isn't doping is blind. Again, doping was all over the place back in the 80's and it is all over the place in 2013.
