Another song I love even though it makes me sad, because I am haunted. There is so much sadness around us. It is hard moving on because of the memories as well as thinking they would be with you much, much longer. We have our happy moments and then in a blink of an eye, or something reminds us of someone no longer with us and sadness returns no matter how many years have passed. My young son was killed, and we were very close. I am haunted by the love we had as Mother and son.

It's just so great to see Justin still performing. You can tell he still loves performing. What a very important artist he is. I recently listened to Story In Your Eyes from 1971. Talk about Strange Times. He made the call way back then about our world is burning and his concern for the children that the life they are living is in vain. They said the Moody Blues were ahead of their times. Oh my yes.

Still looking and sounding amazing at 74! Loving these Tuesday afternoon sessions, so glad that Justin is still singing for us.

I have been blessed to hear Justin Hayward's unique, soaring vocals for the vast majority of my 53 years, having first heard "Nights In White Satin" at the age of 5 in 1972. I love you, Justin.

Hi Justin, My love for your music goes back to the late 60s. The uniqueness of your voice, musical composition, and lyric writing - are simply for me, as good as it gets. I had the pleasure of visiting Cobham in the early 70s. I left a letter at 55 High Street mentioning a song I dreamed of. Again, in the mid-80s I visited Cobham and got to meet Dan or Don McKenzie (sp?) I believe he was your personal manager(?). In any case, he was delightful to meet and gave me an autographed picture wherein you are sitting at a piano. The two of us sat in his office drinking tea while he regaled me with Moody Blues "talk". During that trip to England, I purchased most of the early Moodies albums (vinyl) and still have them. They are unplayed and in pristine condition. Justin, thanks for all of it - so glad I got to be in this world at the same time as you and hear the unique, creative magic of your soul expressed in music. - Charles

Strange Times was and is a fantastic album. Love this tune, also English Sunset. Shame it was the last Moodies long player. Hard to believe it’s now 21 years old.
