2 years my husband passed ❤ always loved hard rock the 1st concert he took me was at Jones Beach I was hooked ❤ still play your CDS constantly wish he was at here ❤️🙏💔😪
The talented young lady on the flute does a tribute to Ray Thomas on this. She also reminds me of Kesina Buzina (spelling?) the young lady in Leonid And Friends. Nice job all around on this version!
Just stop splitting words up …Eh eh everyone etc etc. Just Caught John Lodge doing it on “ Isn’t Life Strange” too. Just cos kids do this - who can’t hold a note - you don’t have to do it too.
I turned 75 last week and I still love the music of the magnificent moodys. I remember many years ago someone described them as the world's smallest symphony orchestra...they were WONDERFUL....
Still one of my favourite songs ever! ❤ I always play Forever Autumn and Mr Blue Sky (ELO) one after the other as they are both such emotionally vibrant songs that speak to my heart. Justin is an amazing singer…with the Moody Blues or solo. Forever Autumn & Eve Of The War from Jeff Wayne’s WOTW was my first introduction to Justin way back when I was 7 years old in 1978 and I still listen to that phenomenal album. ❤ Until I saw this live performance I didn’t think Forever Autumn could ever be successfully sung live…this proved me wrong, even though the flute was substituted for the ocarina that was used in the original. ❤
This and New Horizons are two of the most beautiful songs ever written by this supremely talented musician! Been a Moodies fan since 1971 and always will be!
June 2024 65 years old, JUST now figuring things out in life! Hang in there, think broadly and go with the flow. Observe don’t absorb. Love one another.
Justin Hayward has always been an inspiration to me as a guitarist, singer and songwriter since I first discovered the Moody Blues. I had a riff that I'd had been playing for years in my head that didn't ever go anywhere. One day I was listening to this song and his other song called I Dreamed Last Night and it inspired me to write one of my own songs within about 5 minutes using this riff. My song sounds nothing like either of these songs but it has the same familiar theme and feeling about wondering what happened to a previous love. I'm so blessed that Justin Hayward's music could inspire me to create something of my own.
My whole family loves your music. Especially my Aunt, who is 74, and me, who is 56. I saw you in Bloomington Illinois with my late Mother in 2014 at the Castle Theatre., you and your band were brilliant. We sat and cried a little. Thank you.
I’ve been listening The Moody Blues since 1972, simply amazing. There is a song that is so good to me that is underrated and is called “Had To Fall in Love”
