I just came from the music room to the computer to check out RU-vid. I'd been listening to a CD from the 1970s and thinking, this was impressive back in the day but it's cold and it doesn't improve your life. Picked up the Taylor 12-string and played something with feeling in it. Put YT on and this pops up. Thank you, Mr. Hayward. You've been making lives better for decades.

The words to this song are simply lovely. What a romantic song, but then it would be with Justin at the helm. I enjoyed Mike playing the guitar. He added that essence to it that only Mike can do. I had to listen to it several times just to hear Justin sing "and hold your body next to mine." My imagination went wild! He can come knocking on my door anytime. I have the wine and the fire is burning.....in the fireplace that is. LoLs. Thanks Justin for another beautiful Tuesday afternoon. I so look forward to these Tuesdays. In today's music, a lot of the electric guitar is missed. I have to turn to Clapton, Jeff Beck, and even Hendrix to get my dose of jamming and I crank it up. But, of course, there is always Ride My See Saw, which is up there with Nights and Tuesday Afternoon.

Another great song, and a perfect showcase for the incredible Mike Dawes! Mike really knows how to use a guitar solo to boost a song, a rare gift since so many guitarists have the habit of allowing their solos to become bombastic, overpowering the tune. By the way, his well-worn Strat looks a great deal like the one played by the late Rory Gallagher.
