I don’t think that I’m an overly lucky person, meaning, I haven’t won the lottery or had the happiest of lives, but one thing I do know is that having you “in my life”, singing your wonderful soul to me (and all of your fans) has definitely made my life so much better. @@rosskstar NO Justin is not syncing ! **I Am Going To Be Kind - But Are You Blind?** - Just to be sure I went back and watched /listened again (thanks for the prompt) ... and then you gave me an excuse to view one of his past shows with a live clip from last year. Not even a doubt. Justin is a Master with an instantly recognizable voice that transcends time and age(s). You say, you have "got to believe he's syncing an old tape" Really? - You are obviously not a musician, probably never seen a concert live up close, I doubt you are a fan... but IMO you, JohnRossStar, are the definition of a lousy Troll ! (BTW - How come the "Thumbs Down" votes don't show a count?)

@@rosskstar your belief is based on the idea that he has done a wildly elaborate hoax in which the tape recording is pretaped and magically matches the sound perfectly. That would be harder to do than just singing it- on headphones you can even hear the modulation from movement in his head when he is shaking it. Its a very odd thing to suggest.

@@JerryB1st What's up with the personal attack on John? Jeez. He made a comment based on his observation, and it was in no way done in a trolling fashion. Thanks for the heads up on your "thumbs down". You can rest assured that your vote has been duly noted. Back on point here. Take note of what you hear and see when he sings the the word "room" at the 2 min mark. Pay extremely close attention to the "m" in the word "room". Perfect example of what we are questioning/noticing/commenting on. There has clearly been a significant amount of post production on this clip. Is that a bad thing? Of course not. As John pointed out, many singers/bands do this, and have been doing it for decades. Entire "live" albums have been re-recorded and had the crowd/ambient sounds layered over them. With todays tech, all this and way more can be done at home with relatively little investment. No one is questioning Justin's voice or capability here. At least not in the sense you're thinking we are. We all know he still sounds excellent at his age. WAY better than 99% of artists that are still performing in their 70's, and younger. @MAC TRUQUE Wildly elaborate hoax? Um, no. I'm not sure why you're thinking there's anything elaborate going on here. It's simply typical post production effects. Audio/performance corrections. If you want to put out something very polished sounding, that's what get's done. Happen to notice that nice reverb in your headphones? Think that was from the natural acoustics of the room? I love that Justin posted this video, and I love that he still sounds great. I wouldn't want it to sound crappy or have significant mistakes in it. With that said, it immediately struck my ears as too perfect, relatively speaking, which IMO it is.

I can clearly remember the VERY first time I heard the Moody Blues in 1969....and being blown away by the music AND the lyrics...and here I am surfing the web in quarantine FIFTY ONE YEARS LATER and I find Justin.... This guy still has it in spades. As someone else said, so many times when feeling down or just plain meh, I turn to the Moodys or a Justin solo album and by the time it's over, I'm fine again. Thanks for sharing your time and music with us Justin.

Justin please come back to Harrisburg, PA, again, when this silly virus is over. My wife and I saw you there on October 6th, 2019. She love you. She passed this August. I would love to see you again for both of us. I introduce the Moodies to her, probably the very first day we met. This Dec. 30th would have been our 20th anniversary. Looking back on my life, it is wild how all the Moodies music prepared and got me through life and then later influenced Tammy. That music got me through tough times, it is so beautiful, but more than that, thought provoking, with such insight to life. My interpretation of you music has changed multiple times in my life, if not from year to year or even day to day. Thank you so much for your entire body of work. To me, any way, you're the most prolific musician I've ever experienced. So again, please return to Harrisburg, or somewhere, in Pennsylvania when covid is behind us. I will be wearing part of my wife around my neck,and we both need to see you perform in person again. I know you will never actually see this message, but God bless you never the less.

Justin is one of only 2 rock vocalists who I truly admire and love!! The other man is THE voice of Yes, Jon Anderson. These men are both well into their 70s and their voices remain almost as good as they ever were!! I remember buying the Songwriter album back in 1979, shortly after I began really exploring the Moody Blues catalog. "One Lonely Room" is a standout on that record and Justin's voice retains most of its luster from the 1977 recording!! 💙💙

... trfesok, i think that Justin made a wise decision, very early, well, probably from the start, not to push his voice. And that shows, now. The relative quality he's maintained is wonderful, but i will say, his split word affectation, stylisation he has adopted is a bit grating, aend, he'd do well to drop it, keep it smooth and basic. His vocal sound quality, though matured, still remains intact ... Greetings to you from way down under in Australia ...

In the original version this song did not really catch me. But in this way, the wonderfull simplicity with just a guitar and sang with so much passion: this to me is the highlight of these Tuesday-afternoon series, really wonderful. Justin Hayward, already a fan for 50 years, got all your records, but you keep on surprising me.
