Like the song says “there in a better place up there but they sure left a hole down here” I’m sure they are doing better up there than down here right now man
A soldier doesnt fight because he hates whats in front of him, But because he loves whats behind them. Thank you to everyone who has served and are serving
@@MK0272at least he mentioned some man, just because he didn’t mention them all doesn’t me the ones he didn’t mention don’t matter, stop being such a snowflake and grow up.
Here’s to the troops in Afghanistan who were killed today. As of now, 13 killed and more still being discovered. God bless you all. You won’t be forgotten. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
And Biden gave them less respect and more to Floyd and that’s fucked up trump did better atleast he spoke when something happened now we’re fighting against our own fucking equipment
The Soldier represented all those who were killed in war The Teacher represented all those who stood before students during school shootings (as evident by the loud pop that is followed by them shelling to safety) The Policeman represented all those who served to protect The Fireman represented all those who sacrificed themselves to rescue
I served two tours in the Persian Gulf. This song hits hard. I have the utmost respect for our military. I salute all those who have served. God Bless!
Hello Carol 👋 How are you doing today, hope my message finds you in your best of mood, so sorry for intruding your privacy here just wanted to know if you're a fan ? Have a great day.. Stay Safe
I was adopted into a white home. And my dad is a police officer. He retired right before the high rise of fallen officers due to the hatred caused by blm and other’s movements. He came out of retirement now works as a SRO officer. But once the school year is over he’s going back to the streets. I didn’t see that brown man on the screen I saw my dad. I’m so glad for all the years he came home. You don’t realize any minute it could be a family member whose risking there lives for our country. Please take a minute for the fallen hero’s on this Memorial Day for the ones who didn’t make it back home and hug the ones who did❤🤍💙🇺🇸
Ill never forget the day Me and my parents watched my brothers flag draped coffin roll out the bottom of a plane. Hurts more than any words can describe.
I can relate to that, except it was my best friend, and he wasn't in the coffin cause they never found his body. Almost ten years later and we still don't know where he is laying.
WOW!! How powerful are these lyrics. This song should be played by every radio station repeatedly on each and every memorial day across this entire country
I was 7 years old in 1968 when my 20year old uncle was killed in Viet Nam. He was a lot of fun to be around. Hard to imagine he would be 75 right now. RIP.
I'm joining the army this Friday..I'm nervous but in ready to serve Edit: Thank you to everyone commenting who has served. I am glad to join the brothers in arms. 13 Romeo, being sent to fort Sill in 11 days. Thank you everyone!! (One more edit. I'm now graduated basic and about to be graduated AIT,being deployed November to June. I'm starting to love this Army life!!♥️🇺🇸
Im following in my uncles foot steps. He was the chef of our local dept and passed in 2012. My whole family is either firefighter or military. This song really touches home
@@emilyidles8966 don't follow in your family's path because you're expected to. Find your way for your own reasons. This field is difficult, it's incredibly unpredictable and lots of pain. But when things work out, and we do good. It keeps us in it. Godspeed little sister in whatever you end up doing.
@@emilyidles8966 good stuff, friend. I'm a full time medic, spent couple years in a fire house. Keep doing what you're doing. Remember to stay healthy. Mind and body
@@adamsantiago4541 thank u. Im a firefighter right now just training to be a IV emt. The fire dept is helping with just about everything. Love them all. Best of luck to u mate.
I lost my grandfather a while back in a shooting, this hits close to home and has helped me. He had served 6yrs in the military. I will never forget his funeral or those kind military boys who spoke at his funeral. I pray for anyone and everyone who has lost a loved one. God bless you all. Thanks to you Justin Moore
Cops don’t deserve to be shot they deserve respect if I ever go to a cops funeral I will pay respect Bec cops are my idles when I become one I will save lives
I Lost 3 friends last year, june-november 2023, insurgency in Papua, now I've been transferred to reserve so there's a small chance I'll see combat again, to the all who didn't make it back home, i raise a glass for you, hope you get the best place next to him, and to the one who survived, keep living so their sacrifice will not be in vain, from 403rd infantry battalion, indonesian army, god bless you
We had recently lost a. Fellow friend, a fellow brother in blue in the spring... I cant tell you how hard it hit us all... this song makes me cry so hard. We were out hunting for turkeys, the thing our fellow Zach loved to do. His passion was hunting. He loved it. I'll never forget it. We were listening for gobblers when we heard the sound that made our hairs on our neck stand up, sirens. Not even 3 miles from us, he crashed... we heard it all from less than 3 miles away. We knew something was up. So we left our hunting spot to find out, as we got to our car, it was then that we got the call. Our friend died in the accident on his way home from working night shift. It was the first time I'd seen my SO, cry.... we all cried....
@@calibaldwin2754 it was about trying not to cry. I am alright with that my friends died in that uniform and they served in Iraq and Afghanistan and I have now got ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder) this dose not mean just to you. Respect all even the ones where fighting out there they risk there life's like ours.
I almost lost my life to cancer take it from me live life for you and when you do you will find the ones who appreciate you love you and carry you forward not hold you down go hard doing what you love and enjoy lifes too short to put an adventure on pause wether its fixing up your old car ,fishing on a pond or singing to the stars make it count.
Lost a buddy a week ago in a car accident. He was a first responder and got into a three car pile up. He gave his life protecting those he cared about. Rest in peace man.
AMBER POND I ran into his girlfriend around a month or 2 ago. Apparently he was getting ready to propose to her and he told everyone else but her. She’s doing OK though. She knows that he’s watching over her.
today isnt mean to be a happy day, but one of remembrance to those who laid their lives down for this country and those it protects- we thank you for your sacrifice. we'll carry on your legacy, and when i turn 17 this year i will carry your legacy on personally in the Corps 05/27/2024
This song hits home to me. My Dad was a volunteer Firefighter for 22 years. He missed alot of dinners and holidays and my mine and my Brother ballgames and our boy and girl scouts events. He's my Hero and my rock. My dream was always to follow my dad footsteps. Have health issues that right now can't do it.
No other music genre supports the military and first responders than more than country. Ever see a rapper doing a tribute like this? Nuff said. Justin Moore rocks! Thanks, coming from a retired cop myself.
And for those who lost their life fighting to free the ones who were trapped, fighting for the ones who were responsible for this, and to all those who lost their life or someone close to you, amen.
Who else is here on 9/11 Thankyou To the firefighters To the police To the paramedics First responders Much love, even though they aren't here, they are NOT forgotten♥️
I'm tired of people hating on police and veterans. These people sacrifice their life, they risk losing their lives their loved ones so the world could be a better place. And It bothers me to see people sit for the pledge or want the police defunded because they are a thin skin who can't accept the way things are.
I agree with you. No one should hate policemen, veterans, firemen, active military, EMT's, paramedics. They are doing very dangerous jobs. They put their lives on the line every time they go out on a call. We should be thankful that they do what they do! I pray for them each night asking God to send his Angels on each call! God. bless them all!♡♡♡♡♡
To those who didn't make back home your sacrifice will not be forgotten so I before a 🍻 to those who sacrifice their lives for us may you rest in peace because you deserve it.
As a female coming from an Airforce family my dad served with the Airforce while I still have him here with me I am forever thankful for all who have served and this song is more then just honoring our Military but also Firefighters, Policeman but all who have risked their life I also have a Policeman who is my uncle I still have him with me but thank you all who have served
@@beverlyarcher3744 No offence intended Beverly, but I think this is aimed more towards those who serve the 'regular people' in crisis, not that you all don't have moments of BS from society's idiots, but try to understand the concept of doing emergency response for a living and seeing far worse than just 'mean people'. - Just sayin'...
This song hits hard. At the end of my time in the Navy, I was a Casualty Assistant Calls Officer. They trained me to break the bad news. Thankfully I didn't have to...still this rings close.
This is how I was raised. I will be in the Marines because my cousin was in the Navy, my moms a teacher, my entire dads side of the family are firefighters, my entire moms side was police officers. I'm incredibly proud of where I come from.
@@maskeddragonfire8875 As long as your a US citizen with no felony convictions or severe mental illness issues / prior injuries it should not be a problem getting into any of the branches of the US military :)
My HS sweetheart died in Afghanistan in 2001 he was the most amazing man I have ever known! May he rest with the Angels 💗 his sacrifice will never be forgotten!
Like what we say in my old high school we say pride we stand for the flag we stand for our rights and we stand for those who are on the frontline trying to make this community a safer place we were a military based high school god bless America
Sorry for your loss. In about ready to cry. I have not lost a loved on that I was close to and in 13 so I don't know how you feel, but I pray for you and your family.
I just turned 18 the 3rd of April as just signed papers to become a volunteer fire fighter I was raised to be brave always take risk and I’m risking to lay my life down for another and if I ever do don’t be sad cause I always loved helping others in need
You were raised well, caring. My husband and 6 of our 8 were on our volunteer fire department. My late husband was also secretary and a son is Assistant Fire Chief. Thanks for your service.
Maddie, The best way to help assure his safety is to pray for him each day. Ask God to send a special angel to watch over him at all times. Yes, I believe in Angel's! I have seen & heard of too many things to believe otherwise as a nurse and a Christian! God bless you and your boyfriend. Norma Jean Morrissey♡♡♡♡♡♡
america has the best men we have a-10 b-1 ripping through anything that attempts to touch a american soldier i hope to join the military one day but i got 5 years until im old enough
Probably the best song he’s ever made. My biggest fear as a Policeman isn’t dying. I could give two shits about my own safety. My biggest fear is someone walking to my Moms front porch and my fiancé’s front porch and telling them I’m never coming home.
To whatever soldier sees this, any branch ANY: you matter to us, and no matter what, you will not be forgotten. Even when you see stuff on the news about what people are saying about you, or what you see during you service. I care, look up to you and appreciate with all my heart and want to do what you do one day. And I can’t say it enough. Thank you ❤️ I am 11 years old from, Georgia, US.
as a volunteer firefighter and someone who has lost alot of loved ones and close friends both over seas and at home. i have alot of respect for Justin for making this song. its heart breaking to here it but in the same breath a true honor that someone has made a song directly dedicated to our millatary, police, fire fighters and to to the people lost to school shootings.... god bless. and thank you
My dad is still alive and not deployed, but if there is ever a war I don’t want him to get deployed 😭😭😭😭 I don’t want the military going to my dads house saying he’s gone. I’d cry to this song if he died. If he got deployed I want to give him the biggest hug when he got back. 😭😭😭😭
The most powerful verse. " And that preacher talked about sacrifice ,and traffic stopped for those Cadillac lights. " I remember as a young boy ,my granddaddy stopped the car and got out and took off his hat and stood there while a funeral passed us" He did not know them ,but he said it would make the family feel better that people recognize their loss. To this day I will do the same thing . Funny how a little part of a song can bring back a memory like that.
I had been in the Army as a duty to protect S.Korean people, I spent 26 months in the very front close enough to see N.Korean soldiers. This song reminds me of my youngest and most confident military days. I've never heard this kind of music in Korea. This makes me so proud of all of soldiers and police in the world to protect their people.
Even though I am an American who plans to be a Marine..I’ll respect the moment of silence for those who were killed by our soldiers. *Moment starts now*
This song is not only talking about Military it’s is talking about all front line workers and how we should respect them..... Everyone hug a live one and tell them how much you love them❤️❤️❤️
R.I.P to those who passed in today's school shooting... 5/7/19 We will remember you and God Bless everyone who may have been hurt or traumatized. God bless
As a member of the community that was effected by that, we’re truest greatful for all the support. Kendrick will be remembered just like Claire Davis. They were the brave ones, and lost their lives doing so.
If you don't love this country, you don't need to live in this country. God bless anybody that has a job that is even remotely dangerous in anyway. We all put our lives on the line for a little pay, some gratitude and satisfaction of a job well done. God bless the men and women of this great land. God bless the USA!
Kylie Gauthier id like to see you out there serving your country instead of commenting something like that on a song thanking people, that’s real respectful and why are you listening to it if you don’t like it?
Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to those who served, still serve, and have lost their lives for this country! Without these brave men and women we wouldn’t have this amazing country 🇺🇸
Anybody who serves needs to be shown lots of respect. I know a few firefighters and I even want to be one. Some of the people I knew who were Firefighters did die. I also know people who died as officers. Those risk their lives everyday to ensure our safety. Please stay safe and love to all who serve. I salute and honor the risks you take to protect us.
I’m a EMT and being there for people when they might be at there most distressing time makes this job 100% worth it. I don’t care about the low pay, just being able to help make a positive change in their life is worth it! It can definitly be hard, but the these moments makes it worth it. :)
I signed up for the military in 2016, my senior year of high school. Left for the military in 2017. Witnessed a fatality from about 10 feet away. A guy doing his job, a job he loved more than anything. Ill never forget him or the men i currently serve with. This song means the world to service men and women everywhere, at home and abroad.
SoftTeddyBear13 you risk so so much doing your job and I don’t know why you keep doing it. You people are the bravest people ever. Thank you for protecting me. God bless✝️
Thank you very much for your service and I am sorry that you had to lose your brother in combat and you guys are my hero’s and you go out of your way to protect our country and you guys are real heros
Thank you very much for your service. I lost a good friend in USMC when we were 20. He'd be 43 now. I know many more that are in the service and think of all often. Yinz are brave and risk everything.
My Grandpa was a medic in Vietnam and his plane got shot down. Luckily he is healthy today and living but still with PTSD. Anyone that has lost someone... I am very sorry and will pray for every single one of them and everyone else. Me and my family were the fortunate ones but God bless for the people that aren't. Love you all 🙏❤
We had a tragic event in Oxford Michigan at the High School last week on November 30th. Could you imagine if Justin Moore did this song on RU-vid acoustic for our community. I understand we are nobodies nationally , but it would be so awesome. We are hurting my friend. Rich
Lost my lil cousin in Afghanistan about 55 days before my 2nd deployment to Iraq. Rest In Peace lil cousin SGT Taurean Harris 2 AUG 07 Kalagush Afghanistan You will never be forgotten “AIR ASSAULT!!”
2 of my uncles served in Vietnam respect to the the men and women serving for America they go through hell to keep this country safe and it pisses me off that most people don’t even care🇺🇸.
I am a navy veteran. I was deployed twice during the Persian gulf war. Everytime I watch this video I cry my eyes out. Thank you Justin won for showing such respect to the military and law enforcement. I salute you.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND 2020. In memory of my father who sacrificed his young wife and infant daughter and gave his life for Our country in Vietnam. 51 1/2 years later. He will never know how much his baby girl would still need him. Even though I was just a baby then. My heart breaks thinking of how much different my life could have been and I’d be able to run to my daddy to protect me and love me no matter what. I’d like to believe he’s proud of me. My father and me where in the army we where in a small battle he didn't make it back I honor him he was a good man he didn't need to die that day just goes to show you don't miss someone till there gone, thank you for this song people thank you
This hits differently after those brave soldiers lost their lives in Afghanistan. I appreciate all those who are serving, have served, and will never forget or stop appreciating those who have lost their lives protecting us. Thank you, and God Bless you all.
Hopefully, for some of us this hits extremely hard, especially those of us that had to watch some of our brothers and sisters not only fall by die in our arms as well, but thank you for what you said , I'll look further on just hearing what you said
To all the people who risk their lives for ours, I couldn’t thank any of you enough. I have nothing but respect for all of you. Hope they all make it home safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
