Eagles have around $25mil left, they arnt spending the bulk of that on one player. I believe they have around $6mil next season aside from whatever the nfl cap adds. On top of that, Eagles are going to need as much money to roll over as possible. Two year contract backloaded, only way I see a deal happening.

We keep bashing the offense, but they were top 10 in every major statistical category... There was a lot of frustration with that offense no doubt about it, but top 10 in points, yards, TD's, all of it. They had the 6th most Points For in the NFL. The problem? They ranked 31 in points allowed...
The frustration was the screens on 1st down and QB draws on 3rd and long 😂 it's obvious there were points and yards left out on the field, especially against stronger teams like the 49ers, those first 2 drives with tds at the end change that game
The defense gave up ♾️ points per game. They’ll likely give up half that this season, but the offense will average 27 points, which should be enough to overcome half ♾️😂😂😂
@@Scyon13 Oh believe me, I am not arguing that. But again, we are acting like it was the worst offense we have ever seen, and it was not. No hot reads, poor screen timing and lack of straight runs killed them. But again, they were top 10 in every category.
If we sign Justin Simmons, he is starting! I don’t see how you think he would be brought in to compete for the job! Yeah he was a cap casualty but he is coming off an ALL PRO season; he knows the system and has familiarity with the coaching staff. If he signs, he will make at least twice as much as Reed if not more. He would be an immediate starter! No Question!
We will sign Simmons in the next 2 weeks. Vic needs insurance in the safety room with Sydney not playing yet. Bring in Simmons and he can battle with Reed and CJGJ for starting position then whoever isn't the starter is a starting quality back up.... Ain't nothing wrong with that y'all. Getting Justin Simmons wouldn’t be a good move, seems like a waste of money when we have bigger need at linebacker/DLine. Plus the safety’s that we have that are backing up (for good prices) are great special team guys

Justin SImmons is not gonna come in to be a backup. You either start him, or you dont sign him. We bought out Reed Blankenship's contract so he couldnt be an unrestricted FA, so why would they do that if they dont think hes gonna be your starter??Justin Simmons (as much as id love him to be here) just does not make sense. @@thephillytalkpodcast I agree I think Reed is a liability in coverage and has been hurt too much for a guy who has only played 2 season and only was a starter once BUT I think the team is higher on Reed than we are. I WANT Justin Simmons just based off the teams actions I don’t think we are gonna get it Edit: by once I mean one season as a starter . Also, CJ when he got hurt for us it was a freak injury like a laceration on his kidney which is just crazy to begin with 😂 so I think he will be solid for us this year and be flying all over the place! Plus he is very versatile can slide down in the slot too. Love him. He couldn’t tackle my grandma but idgaf if he’s breaking up passes and getting picks !
Its not happening. You can book it. Howie wpuld have done it already. Plus Howie already drafted more secondary players as high picks. This is outside of Howie’s comfort zone
Simmmons im sure wants more than a 1 yr deal and im not sure we have enough to pay him what he wants im sure thats why he isnt here yet sure we have it this yr but already have a few contracts now on the heavier side if the numbers make sense do it if not im ok wit running who we hve put there right now
