I struggle with this same problem. Especially during lows in life. A female's low is incomparable to the low's we are able to reach. Do your parent have home studies and mental health exams? I do, that were court ordered, that found the blood father was the mentally ill and violent. He had to have extensive parenting classes and counseling for his horrific treatment of his kids. Half truth in reality. I come from an extremely abusive household Don't think that hardships only come with rewards and advantages. It also breaks you inside. Notice how wounded and angry he becomes speaking of his own mother. If you don't work to improve those you will be stuck in repeating bad behaviours and mindsets unto the people around you and self sabotage. Your health suffers with continuous stress too. Animals in nature don't store trauma but humans do. And before, humans wouldn't experience trauma continuously. They would experience a shock or trauma but it wouldn't be daily or hourly, it would also rarely come from their very protectors and life givers etc. In a small community, they would receive support, attention and love more often. The environment would be that it would promote a better and quicker healing, which in our days quite misses.

Trauma does not create strong men. Strong men create themselves. Please don't ever tell anyone still in the thick of abuse/trauma that this will make them strong. THEY will make themselves strong but first they just need to survive. Children in particular are doing all they can just to get through the next 24 hours. And, side note, some geeks are phenomenal, intelligent men who you could learn from rather than just putting them down. Justin has done well for himself of course but he is emotionally weak and still very much a young boy who is in pain. He's unable to have a long term relationship and his fear of love restricts him from receiving true happiness. It's sad really. I pray he finds true peace but his pattern is to block everything out and keep true love at a distance.

That is true but, trauma is also a coin flip. It can make you into a succesfull man, or I can break people and unfortunately due to drugs or other things they dont get the chance to use the trauma to rebuild themselves
