Roundhouse vs Justin Wong first to 15 for $10,000. I did not challenge Justin, I was minding my own business and J came into my stream chat and called me out. Since he happened to be in Southern California for Labor Day Weekend, we made it happen.

There are levels to this. Roundhouse is really good ONLINE, in the scrambles, and lames it out until he can dump meter. Good online tactics, good basic fundamentals. But justin is king of lame, clutch blocks, clutch precision, knows advanced tech, he's just on a different level. When you have played enough marvel, you start to see it.

90% of Roundhouse are his annoying Ironman and Storm assist. The rest is luck and unintended safe play (notice that he doesn’t even fly with Sent because he doesn’t have the execution for any higher level stuff).

Locdown: “Roundhouse should be commended for taking the challenge…” what bro?! RH was the one who started talking shit saying Justin was wack! He talked shit and then got put in his place. Obviously Locdown biased towards RH, it shows in the game commentary. Just be 100% and call it like it is. RH was getting washed. I hate this theorycrafting of it should of been 10-7 at one point, 15-11, etc etc. If your saying that then you should of also said it could of been 15-0!

The score "should have been" 15-5 in Justin's favor, because that's what it was. Talking like only Roundhouse's mistakes affected the outcome is silly. Justin made mistakes too. That being said, matches were sick.

Justin is kind but that kindness kinda made it drag on a bit, and who wants to be given virtual consolation prizes 'oh you couldve lost to me with slightly less losses'. It enables the lack of humbling in a way. Like, maybe it doesn't matter tho. But if I got gud I would be in a similar spot to RoundHouse ngl. Prolly worse for sure. So I know how it is, in the moment of weak mental is when you get enabled by people acknowledging it at all. Its best to just admit you were being weak, then move on. But obviously thats hard to do when tilted. But being tilted is the sign of being weak. I think the true solution is the gameplan needs more meta to it. Like their gameplan doesn't extend beyond the game. You need a gameplan, of gameplans. Like, 'if I lose from a drop or something, my strategy can still work, give it time'. And this circumvents the tilt. But you cannot invent that mid set. You need to go in already prepared for it. For *all* scenarios. 'If I lose 0-15, I learned a lot about my strategy's flaws so have more I can work on'. So its a learning experience. Just the ego gets involved when you compare any legend to yourself. People have envy or admiration. But, in reality, he should be happy taking *any* games off of Jwong. Any victory is a victory.

Completely oblivious to the fact that he's intentionally going easy and using that game to get a download. It's like... have these guys literally NEVER seen a Wong comeback set? Iron Man was easily the most useless character in this entire set. Between point and assist, IM hit like maybe 12 times in 20 games. The way the set looked, of course you're going to lose 15-5 when you play 2 characters vs 3 the entire time.

@@TheBimmster Iron Man is A tier. People have been trying to claim he's the 5th god but this set is solid evidence as to why not. His neutral is too weak to compete, so he can't grind an opponent and win; either he lands the infinite, or he's a boat anchor.

Iron man on rh team was worthless. Every time rh calls him out, cyclops always beat him with priority n gets punished everytime. Not a single time did iron pull an infinite and by the time hes being used, he has very low heath. Captain commando would have been a better assist than iron man.

I wonder what adjustments RH will make to his gameplay in general after this set. It looked like it was alot of drops, and getting counter called that did him in most of the set. He was scrapping and laming, but the key mistakes always cost him either mad health, or a character. Justin's defense and ability to convert was just too many steps ahead of RH when it came down to it. 15-5. Hope to see something like this again in the future. That Iron Man team looks like it can go the distance vs. team matrix, but RH just has to clean it up. Justin too damn good man.

Could have gone better for Roundhouse, the score could have been closer... but it wasn't, and I'm not surprised. I was watching videos of Justin playing MVC2 back in the day around 2007 when he was the guy to beat. This was Wong factor all the way.

roundhouse calls ironman B, normal airdashes, calls sentinel Y, lightning attacks for mix ups and does that dogshit online sentinel zoning with a few typhoons and upback fierces/roundhouses repulsor blast calls hoping to catch you lol... a lot of cheese from this style but a smart player will bait and kill your assist, or in justin's case out lame you.. justin downloaded him in 2/3 games and did his homework prior, not sure how long hes been around but BoTS is no easy feats, congrats to that and thanks for hosting.. i look forward to playing you soon RH
