Jute Rope DIY Decor Idea Budget Chic Bookcase Small Space Hack 

Hi There! The renovation of my petite beach cottage rental continues. My goal is to transform this old cottage into a beautiful furnished rental.
This week I wanted to embellish a small bookcase niche in the entryway of the living room on a budget with twine and thick jute rope. Using natural fibers and texture feels organic and gives the room a coastal chic vibe.
I took inexpensive polyurethane molding pieces and covered them with twine and attached them to the top and bottom of the bookcase with Command Brand removable adhesive strips. I used a continuous piece of thick jute rope to frame the entire perimeter of the bookcase.
In another week most of the renovation will be finished, and I can go in and start adding furniture and unique decor that will maximize the look and feel of this small beach cottage.
