I use this foundation all the time but I don’t have any problem blending it out at all. It’s my favorite foundation at the moment, it’s the best finish and undertone.

I use Burkina but I have dry skin. I apply with a brush then bounce with my beauty sponge. It come out flawless on me. I also don't care for the powders. They are too heavy for my skin type. Thank you for the honest review.

You are my cousin in my head. I absolutely love you! Ok, so when Juvia hit the scene I went out and spent over $200 on the products. And they are in the drawer collecting dust. I am not a pro at all, but I can do a lil something something . The foundation is ok. You MUST blend well and I agree with you, you cant be in a rush . The eyeshadow pallets are bomb. But that dang concealer. Whew Chile ! It creases before I even get to the other eye lol.

I have the foundation and the concealer. The foundation is nice on my oily skin but I also had issues with finding the right undertone. I chose Kenya after testing a few shades. I like how full coverage everything is. I love her lip products too soil and lulu are my go to lipsticks.

Glad to hear your thoughts. I took forever to buy this foundation because I wasn't sure what shade to get. Ppl that are my typical foundation shade matches ALL had different shades. The most common was Gabon, Malawi, Burkina and another I can't recall. I finally chose Burkina but I don't feel it's a good match. It pulls a bit too orange on me. I just kept it and gave up on buying anymore because of not knowing what shade would match better than what I already have. Plus for me it was hard to blend out evenly and I'm not a fan of super full coverage. I bought the same shade of concealer and it creased on me like that too. I just kept it because most concealers crease under my eyes but I wasn't impressed with the hype. 😬

I feel exactly the same!! And the only reason i kept these products is because i kept returning all the others LOL!! but i love the eyeshadow palettes

@@thomasadrianna Yes I love their eyeshadow and blush palettes. But that foundation, lol, that's why I didn't want to buy other shades because I felt I would have to do the same with continually returning it. I did that 3 times with the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop foundation then said forget it. Do you have that one and if so what shade did you get?

YEP! i typically have to use 2 foundations but with the fullness i was trying my best to not use two different shades! LOL!

I have the foundation in the same color. Matches my skin flawlessly but I do agree, you have to take your time blending and applying. One con I have with the foundation is that it transfers, no matter how I set it. I love the concealer I have it in number 9. I ten to wear the concealer more, it is easy to blend and I can be out no transfer.

Great review ... I glad I didn’t purchase the settings powder... but I’ve tried the foundation and concealer I like them and you are right you have to take your time with the foundation ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have this foundation. It's hit and miss and the powder is 😪🧐 . Black Radiance and Wet and Wild is better for powders. My skin has gotten lighter because of me correcting my hyperpigmentation so now I might retry them as a spot concealer and use the concealer as foundation.

I like the foundation but it does really oxidize a lot so it’s better when it sets. I love the foundation sticks though!

I had the same experience. The coverage was great but it's hard to apply. It's too thick and hard to blend. It looks great afterwards, but it's a Hassle to apply.

I usually just reach for the darkest shade and try it at home. Luckily, you can always return it and get your money back or an even exchange 😊

I still don’t know if I like the foundation or not. I think it’s too heavy on my skin if that make sense lol. I absolutely hate the concealer it had my eyes looking crazy right after setting it. I want that lipstick tho! So pretty!

Has anyone ever noticed that this foundation transfers like crazy? I know that foundation will do that, but I get nervous using the Juvia brand bcus I feel like it gets on EVERYTHING, even after setting it. Any suggestions?

yes! I don't get that much transfer (but im very cautious about touching my face LOL) but this texture of formula is very thick so i don't think you can really avoid it unless its cool outside.

When I first checked on the formula for this line, I was like "na" - not for me. Too thick, since I do not wear full coverage foundations. I love the other things, but the complexion makeup, I will pass on it for personal use.

Hey love!!! I know what you mean, the heat in FL (currently living) will have me looking like a grease ball while wearing foundation, what makes it worst I have oily to combination skin... I love the formula of the Juvias Place Foundation, but I need help! I still can't seem to find the "right" foundation shade for me. In the summer I get darker than in the winter (most of us do). thank you so much!! Thanks for watching! 🤗 And like i said in the video, i basically had to try a few different shades, i didn't have any other way to find my color and it still was a FAIL LOL!!! I usually go based on someone else. If i think a girl is close to my shade, i'll use her shade as a guide and go from there :) hope that helps.

Question, how do you prevent transfer of makeup in this time where mask are needed or is there really no way around that? Trying to get into makeup but i feel like there is no point right now since 50% of our face is covered....

honestly, i live in Florida and its like 86-94 degrees every day LOL! So i don't really have an answer to that question because everything is going to transfer on me with this type of weather. I've just been doing light makeup like a powder and concealer on my dark areas if i do decide to put on makeup that day. Other than that, im bare face and ugly LOL!! but the mask covers up my face so nobody can see me haha!

Yes her foundation is full coverage, but Elf is better than Juvias when it comes down to after wearing it a while. The setting powders and highlighters suck and the foundation sticks are too damn oily. She will make her money on them palettes though cause they are phenomenal as well as the lip glosses and lipstick colors.

Fenty was pretty good. I haven't worn it since i ran out a few months ago LOL i may order it again to see if i still feel the same. To me, Fenty was more of a buildable coverage :) Juvia's place is strictly FULL coverage

Girllll the drama is not only with Jackie it’s MULTIPLE BLACK Influencers. Basically they did not want to send them any PR when they where only doing eyeshadow, but would send palettes to big name Caucasian influencers. They only reached out to black influencers when they dropped complexion products

Courtney Wheat oh wow that’s not cool! I hope they resolved that issue now. I never looked any of it up lol just heard about the issue with Jackie from a follower a while ago. With them being “geared” towards women of color that’s disappointing to hear. They really do have great products besides the items that i don’t like.

The concealer and powder under your eyes looked sooo horrible. When you said it looked “NASS-tiee”.... I died😂😂. I never seen creasing like that in my life, the powder made your under eyes look like a 100 year old woman and that’s exactly how it made me look. The concealer is SOOO BADDD. The powder is actually okay but it’s the concealer that looks so bad. It creases so bad

thomasadrianna the concealer is TRASH. Like literally it went on sale for $3 for a reason😂 and honestly the foundation isn’t really good either because it separates and creates. I’m not in humid weather like you so the foundation creasing and cracking.. emphasizing my pores is normal and not a good look. There are better drugstore foundations you would love like “Catrice Full coverage 24 hour” the darkest shade is a good match for me and it beats so many of my high end foundations even though I don’t like most drugstore makeup.
